Money Saver for Me
Three of my door lock actuators quit in my 2008 Tacoma this past year. This is the third time locks have quit working. One of the worst things about my 2008 Tacoma is the door lock actuators. Why the designed a door lock with a motor like this is just beyond baffling to me (an electrical engineer). This was the third time since purchasing the Tacoma brand new that I had to fix/replace multiple locks. The first time a few locks quit working, I took the whole lock assembly apart, pulled out the motor, took it apart, cleaned the carbon build up on the rotor, and then put everything back together. One time I did this though, I dropped the whole lock assembly and did not get the lock put back together right, and the door locked...permanently. Luckily I had not put the panel back on the door and a mechanic did eventually get the door open, but it cost me $600. The second round I just bought the whole lock assembly and replaced it at about $175/lock. This time I had three locks to "fix" and looked and found the lock assemblies are now $250+. I did a little more research and found this motor listed on TacomaWorld so I purchased a few of them and they worked perfectly! And they saved me over $700 this time.

Cheap, easy fix for bad door lock actuators.
My driver's door lock actuator on my 2008 Yaris stopped working. The symptoms it showed before finally throwing in the towel pointed towards the motor. I was originally going to take out the factory one and clean off the commutator, but figured to just order this motor and swap out the factory one since I would have opened the door and actuator. Worm gear installed on this new motor with ease, and polarity was correct. Simple plug-and-play, and now my power door lock works again.

worked perfectly
Bought these for two doors that stopped responding to the power lock commands. Fit perfectly inside the door actuator for a 2007 Toyota Yaris. This repair is not super hard but can be frustrating during reassembly. If you don't manage to put the door actuator back together you are left unable to latch your door shut FYI. If you like puzzles this will be a breeze good luck.

Saved a TON of money !!!
2001 Honda Odyssey - automatic/electric/remote rear door lock on the driver side would not lock and unlock reliably anymore. After ALOT of troubleshooting, I discovered that the lock mechanism motor had grown too weak to do the job. Saved hundreds from the dealer. Saved nearly $100 buying a full replacement unit. Instead, I installed this little $10 part and it has been working well ever since. NOTE: You must have some mechanical ability and a good tool set to remove the inner door panel, access and remove the entire locking mechanism, and remove and disassemble the plastic motor housing.

Wouldve been perfect if polarity is correct
It wouldve been 5 stars if the polarity is correct, I was expecting that it would work perfectly but upon testing it was working the other way among the others, I had to reverse the polarity, if you guys are buying this, I suggest to reverse the polarity right away or test it before reassembling the parts
