Purchased this book on recommendation from my son’s music teacher. He is 9 years old and flying through this book at an incredible rate he is happy with the book and says it has helped him immensely. These are the best beginning books for new instrument learners. My kids have learned the flute, trumpet, trombone and alto sax with these books. They have just the right amount of music theory for the beginning musician without bogging them down. They teach fingerings and basic music! Fantastic books!
