We’ve made beautiful pictures. In a very unique way. It’s like magic! Young children will need help with it , but such a fun project. That can be worked on all day , if ya want. Do one take a break, or let a sibling take a turn. Parent needs to get the water ready , the night before or at least several hours ahead. It could come with more water color paper, So buy some extra, and cut it down to size. The pictures are so colorful. They could be turned into cards , bookmarks etc. it does take a while to dry , but just plan for it!

I used this kit with 2 toddlers age 36 months. They needed a bit of assistance but it turned out great. There is prep work so if you want to use the kit the day of, make sure you plan ahead and prepare the solution a minimum of 3 hours in advance. It’s smaller than it appears but perfect for kids. There is enough powder and paint to use multiple times. There is only 1 tray. If there are other children that will be using as well, I found additional Plastic craft trays at the dollar store.

This worked well and the kids enjoyed seeing the result. I didn't realize that there is prep needed the day before in order for the solution to work it's best. You create the liquid and then are able to move forward with creating the actual designs the next day. So I recommend planning ahead with this. I bought a 2nd one to gave variety from different brand and it was the same instructions of prep a day before. I used cookie sheets to let the wet paper dry and that was helpful.

I bought this for my three grand kids and this is their favorite arts and crafts kit. They want to make paintings every day. I really enjoy seeing their personalities come through their paintings. It is simple to use, but I do make sure to watch over them while they are "painting", just to keep it from becoming too messy. I purchased an additional package of paper and I am glad I did. There are plenty of paint and water solution supplies to last for quite awhile, so the extra paper really is a must for us. This is definitely a good investment.
