Very good
Very good and effective for removing old bolts. For very difficult bolts, I spray the bolt in the morning when the engine is cold, again in the afternoon, and again at night. In many cases the bolt is easy to remove on the following morning. Of course, depending on the age of the bolt, and how fused it is with rust, there is always the risk of breaking the head. This is why I make sure it's saturated before using the wrench. So far it's working good, much better than any other penetrating oil that I've tried.

With PB Blaster and these tips, u can usually remove a seized nut or bolt. fyi, WD is NOT the same
Great stuff for seized up bolts. Spray the seized bolt, let it soak in. Spray from both sides if possible. Wire brush the exposed part of the threads, spray again. Then take a mechanics steel dental pick or similar...pick and dig at the rust where the bolt threads meet the seized nut ...pick and dig all the way around til u see threads. If the nut is rusted to the metal, pick around it there too. This rust is like a weld all the way around, VERY STRONG, but you can pick thru it, then spray PB Blaster again, wire brush it, pick at it all the way around ....repeat process a few times. Also, with a punch (one thats smaller than the bolt) you can bang straight into the axis of the seized bolt ...don't honk on it, just moderate intensity tapping on it . All these things together may save your butt and get out a seized bolt. Be patient and persistent. DO NOT HORSE a seized nut or bolt, it will snap. Once you are able to get it to move a little, STOP ! Spray a little more PB blaster and turn the bolt back in the other way...then wrench it out a little more, spray PB, then back out little more...little by little, in and out, spraying, picking and wire brushing and you will usually get it. If there is no fire risk, u can also use heat, just be careful what you're heating, and whats on the other side of what your hitting with a torch. Keep in mind that sometimes it just ain't meant to be, but PB is the best thing i've found over the years for seized bolts, not WD or anything else. PB Blaster is just one of those things that should be in every shop.

My absolute favorite penetrating lube with some caveats.
PB Blaster is an excellent penetrating oil and lubricant for almost any mechanical need that doesn't involve open flame or extremely high temperatures. It should also be used in a well-ventilated area. It is derived from naphtha which is created during the initial refining of crude oil so it is a hydrocarbon, like gasoline, natural gas, etc. and should be treated with similar respect and caution. If you read the Material safety data sheet (MSDS), you will find warnings about potential for respiratory and skin complications and even brain damage from prolonged exposure. Hey, it's a petroleum based solvent, what do you expect? Used properly, I think it's the best overall solvent/lubricant available, certainly more effective as a penetrating oil and long term lube than WD-40 and Tri-Flow, in my opinion ( stress "my OPINION"). Any solvent, oil, lubricant, aerosol that is petroleum based should be used with caution. Water is a solvent too and it can be dangerous if you hold your head in a bucket full of it for a prolonged period of time! I use it on hinges, locks, window cranks, gun parts, faucet handles, anything that squeaks and is made of metal. I also spray it on my rotary push mower blades after each use to keep the blades sharp and healthy. I spray it on garden hose couplings, scissors, squeaky wheels and even my nose hair trimmer. If it wasn't unhealthy to digest, I would spray some on my cat to stop his constant meowing when I'm trying to take a nap. When used indoors, I make sure the room is well ventilated and have a fan going or a window open if possible. You don't need much! A LITTLE spray will be plenty on most projects if given time to penetrate. Since like substances tend to emulsify each other, it can be used to clean heavier oils and I like to use it to clean carbon deposits off of firearms; it's a lot safer than carbon tetrachloride and I think it's almost as effective. Again, MY OPINION. One last warning: If you are blind - I am totally blind - take care not to store it in the kitchen as the can is similar enough to PAM food spray that I actually once sprayed PAM on a door hinge before my son decided to tell dad what he was doing. As of yet, to the best of my knowledge, I have not used PB Blaster while scrambling eggs. I don't have any sense of smell either so even if you're as blind as I am, you should normally be able to smell the difference between PAM and PB Blaster. And before I get comments: yes I know that I could just put a simple raised label on the can to identify it, but that would make things too easy and I like the daily challenge, it keeps me alert.

Good stuff for rusted bolts
Turns out I could have gotten this at Harbor Freight. But if you aren't near one, then I guess this is the place to go. I've been using PB Blaster for years and I keep a can at both work and home. Spray it and let it sit for a little while to absorb. Also, loosen the bolt, tighten it a little, loosen some more. Do this several times until the bolt comes loose to avoid stripping the bolt or nut and avoid a much bigger problem

Consigliato!

I had a tablesaw nut locked on the arbour and tried every type of penetrating fluid, wd40, etc, heat, muscle, you name it and thought I would have to replace the entire arbour assembly. First attempt using the blaster didn't work but after I shook the can and thoroughly soaked the assembly, it popped off with very little effort. This is an incredible product - two thumbs up.

I used this on a bunch of suspension and frame bolts that I was adding braces to and it worked like a charm! Cut through rust, grime, etc. It works quick ands penetrates deep. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the smell. It's rather 'fragrant' but it wasn't overpowering.
