This is not an urban sketching trip and I doubt anyone else will be doing this so I can’t be lugging along and pulling out a lot of gear. I have a larger Lithitlab case that is my “vault” for all things extra I like to have with me locally. I love it but its format is too large for this need to order another. I want to be able to have something that can easily be put in my purse (to be determined). I can get everything I need in this small compact case EXCEPT my palette - even my smallest, dearest Whiskey Painter’s palette is too thick at 7/8” total (includes projections from mixing areas & thumb ring) to zip up the case. So my dilemma is, do I love this case enough to spend $50+ on a “pocket palette” (at 1/4” thick & I THINK will fit in vertically) to save size and weight & still have a palette? I have an old “freebie” make up bag that EVERYTHING fits in, including 2 Whiskey Painters palettes, but loaded it weighs almost 1# (more with a Moleskin sketchbook, BUT the sketchbook fits in it!). This case loaded would be just under 1/2# , is half the size, and in reality I would have more than I actually need. It would seem like an easy decision. I’m keeping it no matter - will probably bite the bullet and order yet another paint palette. Love how it feels in my hand. Very well made. Zippers are excellent. Lays flat. Will update with photo when resolved. Update: ordered the Pocket Palette and even smaller Demi Palette from Art Toolkit. The Pocket Palette is business card size. Both those small, but more than adequate paint palettes fit in this Smart Fit Lihit case. Everything fits beautifully and this fits in the crossbody bag I’m taking nicely. For travel sketching or just everyday to throw in a purse or backpack or just keep in the car - you can’t beat this. Review: Tall, Padded, and Handsome - I can fit several dip pen nib holders and a small plastic container of nibs with room to spare. It's all well-protected and well-constructed. Recommended for all kinds of writing implements.

Love this little case - Just about perfect

I love this! It's mighty compact
I love this! It's mighty compact, carrying only around 10-11 pens and still be able to zip up easily. I use only one side carrying around 5 pens for work. You can put 5 on the other side if you don't want to use the mesh for a pocket book and even fit a small eraser or correction tape in the second mesh pocket. I use this for work and carry around 4 highlighters, a black gel pen and a Sharpie when I need to mark down orders or take a note. Be mindful of how thick the items might be when putting it in this case cause it reduces the amount of other items you can put in. I use the mesh side to hold some id cards, coupons or whatever and the second pocket to hold an eraser. It is slim enough to fit into a purse or bag pack without taking up a lot of space. Overall this is a great case, it feels nice, it's well made and looks nice too. I recommend this if you don't want a big case and only use under 10 or so pens, pencils, markers or what have you.

On the fence and finally got it - perfect!
I looked at hundreds of pen cases, and I know Lihit Labs for quality. This case was perfect for my travel needs and I keep several fountain pens in it. I do put a soft flannel between layers because I have higher end pens in this case. It is flat, easy to zip, small enough to tuck in a purse or messenger bag. It's a great product, well made.

Worthy Investment
I absolutely LOVE this case! It doesn’t take too much space in my bag, yet it holds 5-6 pens and pencils, erasers, scissors, LED.. Probably a lot more. But this has been keeping me sane throughout the school year, and it’s such an investment! I’ve had it for 6-7 months and there’s not a single wear or tear that I’ve noticed. The black color is also quite beautiful and nothing inside has ever been damaged.

Very nice but small
I guess I didn't read the description well enough. Was looking for a small pencil case to put in my bag. This looked perfect except you can't fit a regular sized pencil in it. It is a really nice case though. Wish it were a bit longer.

cute chartreuse!
i've been looking for a smaller pen case to carry around my art supplies in my daily bag. ended up purchasing this one and was presently surprised with how many things it can hold. lots of little compartments to hold erasers, lead, sharpeners, etc. i also love the chartreuse color that it comes in! a great little pen case for the price.

The Perfect Sketch/Watercolor kit!
This may be the absolute perfect travel watercolor kit! It’s super compact, just bigger than the size of my hand when all closed up. Despite it’s very small size it holds a ton of supplies! I was really worried before ordering that adding my bijou palette would cause it to be to bulky. Not only does it fit beautifully, when zipped up it doesn’t strain or bulge the bag! There is still a bit of room; I could probably stuff more supplies in if I wanted too. My only complaint is the smaller blue pocket. It doesn’t have any give, and with pencils behind it doesn’t fit much. A small pencil and lead are all I could fit there. I think that if they had a second net pocket on that side it would be more functional. Even with that in mind, you can clearly see this case holds more supplies than I would ever need in a travel kit! Edit: After some travel and a bit of use the small blue pocket did stretch slightly! I was able to add a watercolor brush and eraser. I think that if it had a second mesh pocket it wouldn’t be able to hold on to smaller supplies as effectively. Another addition I made was swapping my bijou box for a flask palette; the additional water when traveling has been a game changer! The flask palette is a bit thicker than a bijou box; I still don’t feel the bag is overly strained. You can see an outline of the tin when all zipped up though. 10/10 would buy this again if anything happened to mine. It really is the ultimate watercolor kit!
