I’m got three of these, they’re very sturdy. The kids enjoy playing with them. The ride is smooth. It’s a great gift indeed. I got them for my kid sisters but the teens enjoy it also. The braking system to great. The only reason I’m taking off a star is because the edges of where you place your feet while you ride tend to swing and hit you on your ankle if you’re not careful and I wish there was something at the edges to prevent that from happening. As an adult, I know how to prevent that and the teens too, but the younger kids don’t so maybe that could be taken into consideration.

I was initially worried that the older boys would be too big for them, but they ended up being the perfect universal size for the entire family. After several months of very heavy, daily usage, here is my detailed breakdown of why these are a staple in our garage: The Good: Incredible Adjustability: This is the absolute best feature. The handlebars have a massive range of adjustment. When dropped down, they fit my 6-year-old perfectly. When extended all the way to the top, my 14-year-old can ride his comfortably without hunching over. Because the weight limit is 143 lbs, it truly grows with your child. Tank-Like Durability: My boys are rough on their toys. They drop them on the driveway, jump them off curbs, and leave them in the grass. Because the frame and deck are made of aircraft-grade aluminum, they are incredibly strong. Even after months of abuse, nothing has bent or broken. Reliable Braking: The rear-fender friction brake works perfectly. It is highly intuitive for kids of every age to just step on the back wheel to stop, and it brings them to a halt quickly and safely. Folding Mechanism: If you need to throw these in the trunk for a trip to the park, the folding latch mechanism is super easy to use. I can fold all four of them flat and stack them in the back of my car in about two minutes. Things to Keep in Mind (Quick Tip!): The Wheels are Urethane: These have hard, inline-style polyurethane wheels. They are incredibly fast and smooth on paved driveways, sidewalks, and asphalt. However, they are not meant for dirt, gravel, or off-roading. Stick to the pavement for the smoothest ride! The Verdict: At around $30, this is simply the best money you can spend on an outdoor toy. They are practically indestructible, they fold up for easy storage, and the fact that a single model can comfortably fit a 1st grader and an 8th grader is amazing. Highly recommended for families with multiple kids!
