Big Green EggHICKORY SMOKING CHUNKS

Pretty decent - definitely provide a hickory flavour with around three chunks for a pork shoulder and less for chicken wings. Pretty acrid at first - as with just charcoal, cook over blue smoke, not white.

I’m using these in a gas smoker cabinet instead of the chips. I’m pleased to say they work perfectly. I use only one at a time and each lasts about a hour so very happily. Nice and flavourful too. Only observation is their too big for the smoker chip box but I get over that by using foil caps.

If you have a BGE, you gotta use quality wood - and this does not disappoint. nicely chopped up chunks of hickory perfect for any BGE, tried it with smoking a rack of Iberico, results were incredible.

Good quality wood, various sizes, so good for different cooks. Decent price, would buy these again
