Nishiki is our go-to rice and we buy it in the 15 lb bag because we go through it so fast! The medium grain texture is perfect — it cooks up fluffy and slightly sticky, which is exactly what we want for everyday meals, sushi, and rice bowls. The price comparison to local stores was very well in favor of this. It's good quality, cooks well, my daughter has a way that makes it more sticky for her liking, so it's versatile. This rice has quietly become the backbone of every meal I cook. The grains come out plump and slightly sticky — perfect for chopsticks, rice bowls, or just eating straight out of the pot at midnight. The 80oz bag looks intimidating but disappears faster than you'd expect. I've tried switching to cheaper brands twice and regretted it both times.

The best tasting rice. It comes out perfect every time. Great price and it actually weighed slightly more that stated on the product. You have to do that these days. Too many good companies will say an inaccurate amount and it’s usually less than they claim.

This medium grain rice tastes great as plain steamed rice. It has a pleasant fragrance and just the right amount of stickiness. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s actually more affordable than the Asian market near me. Leftover rice kept in the fridge makes excellent fried rice the next day. Will repurchase.

This is by far the best rice I’ve tried. It’s not only good for making sushi but it’s great to use for every day meals. It doesn’t get mushy or sticky like glutinous rice. I like washing it and setting it in the fridge for 20mins or even overnight before I cook. This makes it rich in taste and doesn’t spike my insulin as much. Just a heads up, when I used to work at the sushi restaurant, this is the brand and type of rice they use for sushi and everyday dishes. This is a must try!
