Drain plug fits my 150 gal. rubbermaid stock tank
I lost the plug cap to my stock tank and this one fits perfectly. It came with an additional adjustment piece incase the cap didn't fit over the drain.

Goes in easy, no tools required but if you have a big Channel Lock or Cobra pliers it will be better to make a more secure install.

The drain on your Rubbermaid stock tank leaking? Well fix it!
This is the original Rubbermaid stock tank drain components. If yours leaks, drain the water, undo the threaded retaining ring, and take the fitting out. Before putting anything back inspect the hole in the stock tank and make sure there is no plastic flashing or scraps trapped around the hole, either inside it or flat on the surface of the stock tank. You may need to use some fine sandpaper 300 grit or so around the hole to smooth it out. Please note that the rubber seal goes on the inside of the stock tank. And if you want to make sure it doesn't leak use some Loctite PL Marine Sealant on both sides of the rubber seal.

My 10 year + tank had started leaking and I wasn't sure why. Tanks are upward of 300$ so even if this peice was costly it was well worth it. I do only use the drain plug 6 months out of year; I use the heated drain plug the rest of the time.

i bought two 150 gallon stock tanks off of marketplace and both had cracked plugs. i ordered these, but it only came with one gasket. thankfully i just used one from the broken plugs. IF YOU ARE REPLACING YOURS SAVE THE GASKETS!
