This DOES go on sale - just be on watch for it. The money is worth it! Being able to use dewalt batteries makes everything so much easier! You hardly notice any weight of handling. You can see the green line in any light! Absolutely perfect for tiling so far, been using it & ensuring accuracy with level (to ensure standards are met still) & have yet to be disappointed with this laser! The magnet is strong, the case is slick & sleek, the description is a little confusing on what you’re getting. But the reviews don’t lie. You get the case with it, everything was perfectly assembled.

We are doing a remodel where we tore out to the studs. Changed the size/shape of an exterior window even. This is simply invaluable. My wife wasn't thrilled with the price I paid (don't get me started on how many tools I have bought for this remodel) but she is sold now having seen all the uses. First green versus red. Green is so much more visible. Distance is great, too. I used this under the house to check foundation and joists and it is remarkable to see a level line everywhere around the entire perimeter. Vanity lights are simultaneously centered in their space and at the right level using the cross hairs. I laid me ceiling sheetrock on the floor and used the laser to mark the centers of five small can lights. Bulls eye. Every single hole I cut in the sheetrock went perfectly around the lights. With the trim I'm using, I had 1/8th inch of tolerance, but these fit snugly. Leveled the ceiling, leveled the floor. Hung the cabinets brackets. What a treat this tool is. Should have bought one years ago.

Ordered mine very late 22 and arrived early 23. Date on item is 21. I bought a new tool, I certainly didn't expect to receive a 2 year old tool. Clearly these have been sitting around for awhile. Battery is also 21 so I just paid a premium for a battery that is far past premium date. Mine did show up with battery and charger so that's a plus. It comes in a tstak case but there was no packaging between the tstak and the cardboard box it arrived in. There were 1, 2.5, and 3 inches of space that the tstak could rattle around inside the cardboard box. For an accuracy tool that seems kinda unacceptable. Especially when there should be plenty of packaging around. Shipping stuff is their job after all. I came from a DeWalt 12v 2 plane 180 degree model and this thing is definitely larger. Magnets work well. Micro adjust works well altho it would have been nice to have it a bit more fine. Since my previous one got stolen I couldn't do a side by side but I think this is maybe a little brighter. I noticed complaints about the drop ceiling attatchment not being adjustable which I don't think is the total truth. The metal piece on the bracket is longer than the magnet run so you can adjust it, it's just not easy at all like the geared system that some have but there are multiple locations. Just measured there are 6 inches worth of adjustment. This is the first time I've gotten a tstak case and they are definitely a notch or 2 down from the tough system stuff I'm used to. I think even the tough system parts holders are a bit thicker. That being said the whole kit is pretty light so even with the thin case it likely wouldn't break on a medium fall

This tool is great, especially if you do a lot of acoustical ceilings. Works very well for walls, and I love the micro adjust knob for fine tuning.

I had to transfer inside wall dimensions to outside wall dimensions using only a rough reference point (a window edge), to install a (level) ledger board with specific screw hole locations. I don't know how I lived without a laser. What would have been hours of measuring and re-measuring, transferring distances, and ultimately praying everything was aligned at the right spots, turned into a quick and precise solution. Using the laser to align for initial measurement, measure distances to the references spot (both vertical and horizontal) transfer those to the outside removed the prayer factor. Of course, I still wondered until the lag bolts aligned perfectly with their holes, and the ledger board was ** perfectly ** level. I imagine that many lasers might have helped...the features I particularly like about this one are its fine tune adjustment knob, the simplicity of its controls and being able to turn on/off different planes (lines) independently, its manegic backing and optional mount, and that it works with my 20v max batteries.

Funciona a la perfección, tiene un sin fin de usos, podemos nivelar cocinas, pisos, muros, techos, puertas, ventanas, etc…. Tarde mucho en comprarlo porque muchos se quejaban les faltaba la batería hasta que leí en la página de Dewalt y vi la clave del producto Tardo 2 semanas en llegar, el precio es elevado pero vale la pena 👍🏼👍🏼
