Art Supply Storage Cart, 5 Tier Solid Beech Wood Utility Rolling Cart with 3 Drawers, Craft Orgnizer on 4 Wheels

This is perfect for our office/studio/craft room. I was using a little metal cart before and this. This is far more functional and beautiful! Rolls smoothly and drawers pull out smoothly. It was easy to put together! So worth the investment :)

I went from clutter to the beautiful organized cart. My hubby found assembly to be easy. The drawers work smoothly. There is ample space for all my watercolor supplies. I find that I paint more often because it is less of a chore to get my supplies out. I paint at my bar in the kitchen, so sometimes I need to clear the area quickly. I’m done in less than 5 minutes. Since the breakfast room is sometimes used when entertaining, I can simply wheel my cart to another location temporarily. The quality is superb and worth every penny.

I saw this art cart on YouTube watching Paint Coach. I thought it looked functional. I looked at other carts but they looked big a bulky. I have limited space. I measured the space that it would fit against my wall. If it were too long I could take the paint brush extension off. I did not have to take the extension off. The cart is made of beechwood, solid no particle board. It is sturdy and rolls easy no wobbling. I'm pleased it has locking castor's. Because of a review I read that said the drawers were tight and didn't slide easily. I am happy to say you can adjust the tightness of the drawer slide at the hex bolt drawer stop. It had everything needed for assembly including the screw driver and hex key. It was easily assembled. I think it is a good value and looks great with my beechwood easle.

While the cart arrived promptly and well packaged, it was, as expected, in many pieces that needed assembled. The instructions were limited to several line drawings of the different parts, all labeled with letters or numbers, followed by a page showing (sort of) assembly steps. My husband, a pretty mechanically inclined guy and I kept scratching our heads because Part 1 and Part 4 seemed slightly different in the drawings but identical in the box. I pointed out that the nice brass plate with the Meeden logo would be upside down on the lower shelf, and the finish was rough assembling it that way, with the nice finish hidden facing the floor. But that was the only way the side supports would work (and they fit perfectly). All okay, more or less, til we got to the wheels. No predrilled holes, no support beams on the lovely underside. They had enclosed two top trays and no bottom shelf. We finally attached the wheels (using only 3 instead of 4 screws so we could mount the very solid wheels on the thin wood sides instead of the bottom because we of course didn't have the bottom piece with the support slats for the wheels. I know I probably could've called or emailed someone for a replacement part, but how long an ordeal would that have been? The cart is lovely, and with our creative rigging it works as expected. But having the correct parts would've made assembly a snap and saved us an afternoon. I would buy it again, as all my oil paints fit perfectly in the drawers with jars and bottles and stuff on the bottom shelf and its table-top high, just the right height for me and my easel.

I recently set up an art studio in my basement and wanted a cart to set up next to my easel. The cart was easy to assemble and the size is perfect for my needs and my space. The cart drawers slide easily in and out and store quite a bit of art supplies. The cart itself rolls easily around. I am not using the wash busket holder. Instead I am using a Silicoil glass jar for gamsol. I did modify the removable shelf to use the Silicoil jar as the Silicoil jar did not have a lip to hold the jar in the shelf hole. Easy modification using some pieces of common hardwood from Lowes and a Ryobi stapler gun. I attached the hardwood pieces to the underside of the cart shelf (see photos below). I may cut another hole in this shelf as I also use a second Silicoil glass jar for another medium. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this item again.

Pay attention to the instructions. Inventory the parts. The bolts for the drawer stops go in the front to keep the drawers from sliding out all the way when opening; the instructions do not mention this. The pieces are not labeled so you don’t know until you know which side is left and which is right. 3 of my drawer stop bolts don’t go in all the way (threads are stripped); one of the drawers was flawed so I had to sand off the flaw so it would slide smoother. I was short 8 screws to attach the casters. My theory is I got a dud. One that Meeden pawned off to Amazon after it was returned. Good news is Amazon gave me a credit so I wouldn’t have to go through the hassle of disassembling and returning it. Somewhat disappointed I didn’t get a better item. Other than these things, it’s a nice cart. It will do the job in organizing my supplies while I paint.
