very easy to install, fits prefect in the case. only thing is I had to modify the space that it goes in. but that is nothing that cant be done in a few seconds. but battery itself comes charged and charge last a long time. i will say that it goes about a week on all the time until needs to charge. keep in mind that if you don secure it wit double sided tape it will rattle inside the controller. plug fits snug and secure as well.

This is the right replacement for the Nvidia Shield controller. Good price and quick delivery.

**Update** I exchanged the battery and the replacement battery works well. I'm happy with this product now. **Original Review** The battery won't fully charge and it dies really fast.

Installed in my shield controller. It has less than a week storage life without being used. Should last much longer. Maybe I got a dud. UPDATE I disconnected the controller from shield and recharged the battery. It is holding a charge just fine. I'm guessing there is an issue with the controller which slowly drains the battery when connected as an accessory to shield. I have changed my rating as a result

Worked and they stopped charging. I used it once and charged it but when I came back after a few weeks it was dead and would not charge again. Tried multiple chargers and wires

I purchased this going in blind. I have had a problem with my original shield batteries going dead and not being able to charge. I had looked around and the seller that is making these has done an amazing job this has fixed my shield controller it is working like new the battery fits very easily to put together. The hardest part is taking the controller apart without damaging and reassembling is equally as difficult.Make your purchase with confidence this is the correct battery to repair your dead Nivida Sheild battery.

it works without an issue.. i popped this right in to my nvidia controller and was very happy wheni t copied errfrthing.

Take your time when swapping these out, but this was a perfect replacement. After about 15mins (I took my time after the internals moved around on me and I had to piece together again) then charged the battery up. Worked perfectly. Really happy with the replacement.

It was good while it was full, The moment it got empty, I couldn't charge it even one time. It stays empty

This does work as a compatible replacement for the Shield controller battery... but the self discharge rate is way too high for a quality NiMH cell. Two weeks idle (zero use) and the battery goes DEAD.
