Code didn't work
The book itself is in great condition, but when I went to use the code in the back of the book to download the software to study with, I received a failure message saying that the code had already been used. I bought new.

Not as good as Getting to Know ArcMap
I was a huge fan of the predecessor, Getting to Know ArcMap. This book is about half the size and felt rushed. Perhaps the next edition will have more meat.

EVA code did not work
EVA code did not work. ESRI said that it was previously used. I bought this book brand new.

slashes through the cover
The book looked ok at a brief glance. The cover has cuts/slashes through the it and through the next 3 pages. The book also has a funny smell to it.

The book was well written.
The book was well written and the exercise data allowed the user to learn the software. There were 14 pages missing from the printed book. I was able to receive the missing pages from ESRI when I contacted them.

Bought new on Kindle - no license code included
I can't say enough bad things about ESRI. First encountered difficulties in 2009. I unfortunately need to use their products at work...

The book appears to be well written but the provided code for a 180-day ArcGIS Pro trial is NOT working at all. The ESRI website won't accept it. I tried about 6 times. Thanks a lot.
