5-HEAD CEILING LIGHT

It's a bit tedious to put together and feels like it will break easily due to the cantilever nature of the petals. It's hard to find a place to hold while putting up on the ceiling. Once up it looks great and puts out tons of light. I would like it to dim more actually in the evenings sometimes. Nice that the color temp can vary and the brightness as well. Most of the time when it is switched on at the wall, it returns to the previous setting, but once it randomly came on full 6000k but have not seen that since. Wife loves the look, I'm happy for it being more modern than the standard. The light is diffused, so it's not harsh in your eyes.

We have an 850 sq ft den and this beautiful 18 petal light brings light to every corner. You can switch from yellow light to white light and change brightness level. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Worth every penny! It's like the sun shining all over my kitchen. Brings out the colors in my mosaic backsplash.

New light fixture turned out very nice. Assembly was straightforward though long winded. Installation was easier than expected. Wife helped, she's petite and not so strong. Was worried about aligning the 4 mounting screws with the fixture. Three fell into place and number four wiggled in. Support bracket came with 4 simple self-tapping screws, thus quite inadequate and unsafe. Drilled small holes and attached the bracket to the electric box. From there, placed 12 drywall screws through the 4 bracket legs into the ceiling. Video instructions on Amazon and a photo-guide paper were good. Lacking is English language instructions. The English instructions for the remote control are unintelligible. The remote control itself only performs a few of the claimed functions. The app remote controls, same. There were no instructions for connection to house wiring. How does blue and brown connect to black and white? Had to google Chinese wiring color codes and read through multiple websites. Hot lead - Chinese brown lead goes with U.S. black lead. Neutral lead - Chinese blue lead goes with U.S. white lead. Replaced an old cheap dangly chandelier. This light opens up the space and really brightens up the dining room. Happy to keep this one and hope for for good long-term durability.

This product is not made in the US, so if you are expecting the wires to be white and black, you are going to be surprised!!! The installation instructions are ok, not Ikea poor but not incredibly thorough. The biggest challenge I had was I didn't know which wire was positive and which was negative. I connected to a light switch, so the remote is somewhat unnecessary, but it does turn on to just the soft white color every time I use the switch, so the remote helps me change to the cool white color I prefer.

Pros: -Light looks nice when installed. Cons: -Broke within a week: After a few days of normal usage the light has dimmed to about 70% brightness and will not return to 100%. Light is also flickering now. -Very difficult install, to include drilling four holes into the ceiling to hang the cross bar mount. This type of install needs drywall anchors, but they’ve only provided screws. -As pictured, the instructions are incredibly minimal and poorly written. Mounting is somewhat described, but actual lamp assembly is barely mentioned. Once you figure it out, the assembly isn’t so much hard as it is tedious. -The remote control situation is laughably bad. You have three options to set up the remote. You can pair it with a code, you can use the “Tmall Elf” method, or you can use one of two apps. My lamp doesn’t have a code or a Tmall Elf (?), and the apps are both poorly reviewed from unknown developers. Great news, though: the remote has a “sexual light” button, so there’s that. Remote also works about 60% of the time; very inconsistent. -Worst part of the lamp, though, is that the color temperature and brightness settings change every time you turn the physical light switch on and off. They seem to rotate between five or six settings with each on/off usage. This means you HAVE to use the remote to turn the light on and off if you want to maintain consistent temperature/brightness settings. That’s kind of a deal breaker. I’ve reached out to customer service. Their only answer is to use the app to turn the light on and off rather than the wall light switch. I wanted this light to work. It’s beautiful and was bright, it took me three hours to install, and I’ve drilled four holes into my ceiling. Unfortunately this light failed to last even one week. Huge disappointment.

A very good choice for lighting every type of space. I wanted more light in my bedroom and this really brightened up the room! The dimmer is also very useful should you need to use for reading. it can also change the light temperature should you prefer to use other than a bright white. I’m using for 3 months now without issues. I would recommend the product.
