BLACK+DECKER HFVB320J27 Eggplant Lithium Flex 2 Ah Hand Vacuum

I am soooo happy with this vacuum!! We bought it for cleaning our carpeted steps and it is perfect for that task! Its light weight which makes it super portable. They include three attachments in a clinch sac which was great since one of the tools was for pet hair removal. I wish that they would include a flat brush which would be easier for the steps but the pet hair works fine. We use this to also clean the car since you can charge it up and take it outside and do a quick vacuum of the car. The battery DOES NOT last very long so it could probably do the stairs and the car on one charge but after that it would require another charge. The biggest negative for me is that the light that says it is being charged never turns off so you can't be sure when a full charge is received. Other then that its a great vacuum and does the job well for what I needed.

We had the older version of this vacuum, that was powered by a rechargeable nicad battery pack. Worked great for us for 5 or more years before the batteries just gave out. But we used it so much, we needed a replacement. And we found it! This new one is also rechargeable, but it's got lithium-ion batteries that charge faster, stay charged longer, and drive this little vac for a fairly long time before running down. The vac itself is redesigned a bit, also. More compact motor, cleanable filter, and fairly long reach with the included wand, brush end and pet hair picker upper. We love this thing, and use it several times every day! (Makes a great bug sucker!)

I grew up with Black+Decker tools when they were made in America and lasted forever. The same applies for Stanley tools who now owns B+D. Sadly neither are made in America any longer. That said while this is no Dyson, it is a much improved model over previous B+D handheld vacuums. The ability to remove the hose is a great feature and adds to the ease of use and functionality. The selection of attachments are well designed and provide options for your projects. The suction is improved over previous models but still lacks the 'horsepower' for some fairly basic jobs. For example, I have a very hard time getting embedded pine needles out of the floor and trunk carpeting in my vehicle, even with the improved suction. Maybe I am asking too much for this small vacuum. The only other issue so far is that if you vacuum fine dusty surfaces or sawdust, the filter will clog rather quickly and you have to stop what you're doing and clean it, even before the basket needs emptying. The good news is that you can clean the filter under the sink faucet so you don't have to throw it away. The bad news is that you need to ensure the filter is completely dry before you can reinstall it again. Purchase extra filters so your projects aren't delayed further. For the price this is a well performing little vacuum with great battery life. Lifespan of this now foreign made tool remains to be seen.

Great little DustBuster. Works perfectly for toddler messes, car vacuuming, steps or other small jobs. The pet attachment works extremely well to pull dog hair off our steps. I have zero issues with the battery. I am able to use it multiple times without having to put it on the charger. I do not charge until it is completely drained and usually just let it charge overnight. I love the easy open side to empty the dirt and also that the filter is accessible from the opposite side for easy cleaning.

This is a perfect little vacuum for stairs and especially crumbs in chairs and on carpet or floor. My husband has Parkinson's and his favorite recliner is always filled with crumbs or nuts that never made it to his month. Battery life is great and is small enough to store away close by. Great on stairs and spot cleaning. Love it just may be my next universal Christmas Gift for each family next year.

This vacuum cleaner is not any good. It has no real vacuum cleaner power at all. I have had this vacuum for about four years and it has never, never, never ever never preformed with any good sucking power. I repeat do not buy this vacuum. If I could give this product a 5 zero rating I would. The battery doesn’t last long. You may do a little more then half of your car interior. You can not take your time to vacuum because the battery will start dying.

Bought this for our vehicles and boat...then started using it in our home. This is the best little vacuum in the galaxy! It is lightweight, ez to charge, efficient picking up virtually any dry items. My wife uses it religiously as do I. We have 3 adult sons so I ordered and sent via AMAZON PRIME one to each of our sons. They all LOVE their little vacuums. I mean it BUT it you will not be disappointed!!

Vacuum is pretty good for what I bought it for, which was to clean small pieces of food, crumbs, etc. from the kitchen counters. I don't usually run it for very long, so I can't say how long the battery lasts, but it hasn't run out on me on my small jobs. I do wish it had better suction. It works well for the countertops, but didn't do as well on the carpet when trying to vacuum up some dirt. Overall, I'd say it's an average hand vac.

I love how lightweight this vacuum is and it works beautifully in a variety of applications. It charges quite quickly and I can use it for 20 min+ at a time. It's become my "go to" for the car, for cobwebs, for light dirt, lots of pet hair etc. Its suction is very decent. I like it so much that I am going to buy another one!

I like to wait a bit before reviewing items like this. It's been a couple months and I'm still really happy with my purchase. I have a really small apartment and a big vacuum would take up way too much space. I'm happy with the battery life and how easy it to move around the apartment. Great suction.

The vacuum works well but the box seemed to have been opened when I received it - the Black & Decker box was taped closed, none of the parts inside were in bags and the vacuum was surprisingly charged.

This vacuum is amazing for the price! I use it to vacuum up rodent poos when I spot clean my degu cage and it works great. The battery lasts a long time, I hardly charge it, and the filter is easy to clean. Highly recommend.

I got this for my car and small areas around the house. It can't clean anything. You can put the nozzle directly over a small patch of dirt and nothing will happen. Put your hand over it and you can barely tell it's on. The pet hair attachment fortunately fits my upright vacuum, because that attachment works great... on a functioning vacuum. The rest of the vacuum was useless, which is really outrageous considering it's so expensive.
