Jim Dunlop Gator Grip® Pick .71MM - 12 Pack

These look and feel great. I'm impressed by the consistent quality, feel and performance over the years. These are the same as they were 25 years ago when I started using them. Solid go-to.

Good quality

This pick is similar to the tortex picks but slightly smaller with better grip. The Jazz shape feels a bit more precise but too small for me. This one is a solid in between. Tried Dava picks as well but found the nylon wore out with heavy down picking and the derlin material was too stiff. Gravity picks and other thicker picks have a chirp sound that I can't stand. The gator trip has similar flex to the dava nylon picks so strumming is great and it doesn't have that annoying chirp sound so it's actually good for leads. Seems like a sturdy material, good tone, good feel.

I got these for my boyfriend and he loves them. They have have a texture on the outside that makes them feel a little more easy to grip. They last pretty long depending on the frequency of use. None have snapped or broken. Would definitely be buying these again.

These picks are a mainstay in my guitar cases. I've used them for eons. Hint, sometimes I'll put them on top of a light bulb to heat up. Then I'll press my thumb to shape the contour how I like.

I've been trying to find a pick which combines a good grip, the right string resonance for strumming, and enough stiffness for accurate picking and these picks might be the closest I've found so far for my style of playing. I'm a naturally hard strummer so I want a pick that I can hold more loosely, strum more softly, and still get enough clarity and volume. I want to give them 5 stars but I think that would only apply if they were perfect for strumming and picking - they're very good for both but not quite what I would consider the ideal pick for me if one exists. If I were perfectly satisfied with these picks I would never buy any other picks. For now these are my preferred picks but I will keep experimenting with other brands and types of picks in search of that elusive ideal.

Es la Guitar Pick con la que mas comodo me siento desde hace años, es super suave y el desgaste empiza un poco rapido pero igual me encanta.

I always have trouble getting a secure grip on the pick, the gator grips help eliminate that problem.

Second favourite type of guitar pick, my favourite is the same Dunlop gator pick but in the slightly slimmer mm. Very great, coating wears off very quickly though so tend to go through a lot especially in the summer when it’s hotter and my hand is sweating more.

Me encantan para usar en guitarra eléctrica y acústica. Tienen buen agarre, el grosor perfecto para mi gusto y la textura en si es lo mejor para mi.

Great picks

Pretendía comprar las 1.14 y he recibido las 0.71. Están mal puestas las medidas en el anuncio. Las púas son buenísimas, llevo mucho tiempo usándolas, pero el anuncio esta mal. Edito: procedí a solicitar la devolución de las púas, por no ser el grosor que había pedido. Amazon me devolvió el dinero y no me solicitó la devolución de las que había enviado. Pedí de nuevo, solicitando las de 0.71 para que me llegaran las de 1.14 y ya las tengo. Aun así, no han subsanado el error en el producto.
