Cheap and It works!
This heater is perfect for my use. I have a 100 gallon stock tank that I use for ice baths and I saw this and wondered if it was possible to turn it into a hot tub. It works great. It was in the high 20s and the completely uninsulated tub got up to 110 degrees!! I had to let it cool down some before getting in! I do not get in the water with it in the tub because of all the warnings but I have a 5 gallon bucket heating beside me and just dump it in every 15 minutes or so to keep the temperature up. The 5 gallon bucket gets really hot really quick. I am curious as to how long it will last but so far I’ve used it 30+ Times with 0 problems. It has definitely been worth the money for me even if it quit working tomorrow. I highly recommend.

Don’t waste your money
Bought it in November of 2022, and used it maximum 2/3 times per week for a few hours, and it stopped working by May of 2023. I used it along with another immersion heater(plugged into a separate outlet of course!) to heat up our Coleman Saluspa beyond the unit’s maximum 104 degree temperature, and it seemed to work great at first albeit it wasn’t as strong as the other heater I was using which also crapped out on me. Clearly not well made at all. Save up and get one of the more expensive, better quality ones otherwise you’ll be buying a new one of these every 6 months.

Perfect for travel water heating
I live in a small one bedroom apt (it’s been a rough couple years and I had to bring it down to basics) my water heater is very small, really only good a medium length shower. I bought this a week after I had knee surgery and used it to soak my knee in the tub. I cannot express to you how perfectly this is designed for its task. Within 5 minutes my full bath tub (of Room temp water) was up to 92*. I never write reviews and I was so happy with this product that I intentionally took the time to write a good review. You will not be disappointed.*** make sure it is submerged before you turn it on, I flipped it on when I turned the water on and it burned the little grip stickers I have on the bottom of the tub before it was submerged. Lesson learned

Works well but be careful
Got this as a temporary solution to heat up an inflatable hot tub with broken heater . It works . It will heat it from 85 to 102 in a few hours . If it doesn't reach desired temp in 3 hours , un plug , let it cool and restart .Follow instructions , don't leave unsupervised or plugged in for more than 3 hours . Do not touch the water while plugged in . Let it cool before removing from water .Yes , i can understand why it can be a possible fire hazard if unsupervised or used incorrectly.

Fire hazard
First the goods. It definitely works well! Two of them warmed 300 gallons of water in about 3-4 hours. Now the bad… it is a serious fire hazard. It doesn’t pull enough power to trip the breaker, but it makes the plugs and wires incredibly hot! I had this plugged into an outlet in my garage (no drywall so i’m able to touch the wires, but professionally installed.) and the outlet it was plugged into was getting increasingly hot. After about 2 hours I unplugged the heater to let the wires cool. While unplugging the heaters, I accidentally touched the prongs (not plugged in) and it burned me immediately! Also, I noticed it started melting the plastic around the prongs (as pictured) after I unplugged it showing how truly hot it isI did have both heaters plugged into two separate outlets on two different breakers as written in the instructions.

Helps make very cold water enjoyable
Purchased to create a longer season for kids inflatable pool. Water from hose can be in the 60s during spring months. Even with full Sun, with a heater it took way too long to warm the pool where it’s enjoyable. I now drop the heater in as soon as I have a little puddle of water started at the bottom of the pool and the water temp quickly climbs to an enjoyable temp range! I normally don’t have to run heater for long during cooler months to get the temp where kids will be comfortable. So far a nice product

Probably best for a small spa
I got two of these to heat my hot tub to more than 104 degrees, and they will do that. But it takes a while and even two only add about 1.5 degrees. But they seem durable and they work. Keep in mind they draw considerable power - I could not put both on the same circuit - they tripped the breaker. And, as the instructions mention, never get in the water when they are active - just not safe. Overall they are okay, probably best if you are heating a small amount of water.

Worked for a day or two, then it blew out the power to my house.
There is a chance that this was merely a defective unit, but it has no functioning power regulator to keep it from tripping any outlet/breaker in which it is plugged. I tried many different outlets just in case it was something else, but after it tripped all breakers attempted, it is clear this is a defective product. I would consider trying a replacement, but this company requires a return for the defective item, and during a pandemic, a cheap heater like this is hardly worth the risk of going to a crowded post office for an hour, simply to return a product that should have never left the factory in the first place. As for the customer service, if they send a replacement, I will update my review.
