Excellent electric guitar! Its sound is powerful and clear, ideal for both beginners and more advanced players. The construction feels solid and comfortable, and its aesthetic is truly attractive. Very good value for the price.

I bought this set almost a year ago for my then 10 year old son who was interested in learning to play the guitar. Granted, he's used it as often as I expected him too (not much), but I'm still very happy with my purchase (maybe I'll start playing again 😉). I had researched multiple sites online to find the perfect starter guitar for my son...one that was within my price range, was of good quality, and was NOT a toy guitar (never realized that would be an issue, but you'd be surprised). After my research from various websites, I had it narrowed down to 3 options. So I had my uncle, who used to play bass guitar in a local band, look at my choices. This was the one he picked, and the one I ultimately bought. This guitar is beautiful, and is a very good quality guitar. It's a full-sized guitar too, a guitar an adult could play as well (beware the smaller child-sized guitars that are marketed...do your research, if your child is a certain size there is no reason NOT to buy a full -sized guitar). And this particular purchase came with the works!! Everything your budding guitarist might need to get started, which includes an amp, extra strings (that we haven't needed yet) and a couple picks. Granted the set comes with additional pieces that aren't too helpful, like the guitar case which, frankly, is only good for keeping dust off, and another item (can't think of what it's called) that my uncle said should only be used with more experienced users. The amp is great, for our purposes. My uncle had said that it's a perfect starter amp, and my opinion is that it is loud enough lol and it does it's job. This amp may not be the best, but it gives a starter guitarist a good view of how an amp can change how notes sound when they're played. Again, very happy with this purchase. I feel it's a perfect all-inclusive starter introduction to the electric guitar, whether you're a child or an adult. And you can't beat the quality and quantity for the price!! And I'll end this review with a statement my uncle had made....you just need something to get started, and it doesn't have to cost a lot. And then, when the interest in playing guitar improves, if it does, then you can buy something better. And if the interest isn't there, well, then you didn't waste a lot of money on it.

Easy to use. Son loves it, good feel and quality.

The umbrella pins on the bridge hold the strings at a hard angle and you'll have some tweaking to do with the intonation to get rid of string buzz, but at the price it's 100% worth it. These are things that are super easy for a new guitarist to do and will help them get acquainted with the instrument anyway. I love the guitar, I've owned a few big name expensive guitars and the build quality and finish are better, but with a few tweaks this guitar sounds absolutely amazing. I did not install the whammy bar due to personal preference, so I can't say how well that works. ( I don't like tuning again every session ) The amp that comes with it is as cheap as you might imagine, but it works. I don't use the OD feature since it didn't suit my style at all. Instead I picked up a Cube Baby disto pedal and a patch cable. You will not be able to turn up the amp more than about 10% with that hooked up, but that should be enough unless you're looking to share with all the neighbors. I would recommend this to any new guitarist or even experienced guitarist on a tight budget. It takes a little setup, but you can easily learn how to adjust it with a couple youtube vids. While my Ibanez and Gibson might have had smoother action, I can't honestly say they sounded any better. The tiny 10 watt amp, well I'd replace that asap if you want any real volume.

My oldest daughter wanted an electric guitar for years and I finally got her this one. I love the color and that the kit gives you everything you would need for your first one. I am a little upset that when we got it and I went to check it out before wrapping it for her Christmas gift there was a chunk missing on the back side. At that point it was to late to return. When I got the box it was smashed on the side with a few dents in the box. Doesn't weigh a ton which is nice. It has easy installation. We wish it had a tuner in the kit but other then that not bad for the price we paid for it
