We purchased this for our son to go with his Halloween costume, and then for play after. He watches demon slayer anime and was over the moon excited when it arrived. He had played with it daily and it is still looking beautiful. The only downfall is the belt as it is a cheap fake leather and has started to peel, but the sword itself is in great shape and for the sale price we got it for buying a better belt and holder in the future is no big deal.

The swords pant on the blade started chirping after a few times of taking it out of the sleeve and putting it in the sleeve Just a few time of use the handles leather started to fall off The sword holder on the belts "leather" starts to bend if the sword is held in it for more then 5 minutes Overall the sword is pretty fun to have and looks really good in display

It is a great remake of Tanjiros sword! It is a bamboo blade and plastic/rubber everything else. It feels very sturdy and I’m not scared it might break, there was a little chip that came off but it’s unnoticeable. I’ve found that most negative reviews are from serious collectors or cosplayers, this is my first ever sword and it’s definitely good enough! Don’t be worried by the other reviews too much if you are a beginner like me. On another note, the Katana came the day it was supposed to, but normally Amazon delivers a day before the guaranteed delivery date, so that was a first. Sword and scabbard/sheath are very high quality, the stand is good enough, and it will do, but the fake leather belt is horridly uncomfortable and it comes folded and creased, I tossed it after one use because it is poor quality. By the way, when assembling stand it might take a few tries of turning the pieces around for it to fit, if you feel it not going right in, turn around the pieces. (It took me a few tries.) In the end, if you are a beginner, I recommend this katana, the paint will likely chip a little, the belt is poor and I suggest buying a new real leather belt if you want to cosplay. 9/10 katana, thanks for reading my review!
