Bought to tuck into under sink areas that might attract spiders. Really working! I find the smell clean and old school. My granny used this in her basement, so I tried. Preferred over sprays. **UPDATE: After using these wonderful little crystals for a month, I find I am breathing easier, and the pesky spiders are no longer lurking. The scent is fresh and clean, it makes me happy.

After trying many recommended remedies and quite a bit of money later, I found these Menthol Crystals to be the most effective. Skunks don’t like mint and by mixing these crystals in a pump sprayer or spray bottle it is an easy application. The crystals don’t dissolve fast and continues to permeate the water. Maybe 1/4 cup to 2 gallons?? Add more water and test before adding more crystals when replenishing. Also recommend putting the crystals in some cheesecloth so the particles don’t clog up the sprayer because they don’t dissolve fast. The smell lingers enough for their noses to pick up on. I have sprayed my grass, flowerbeds and perimeter of my home to prevent digging. I would avoid spraying directly on plants just because it may harm some and they are not really interested unless it’s food. They are still in the neighborhood by smell but don’t root around my place. Originally bought first time for body care products and then light bulb went on. I was desperate. Give it a shot! Hope it works for you too.

I have had the same jar for about a year now. I use them to make my own menthol shower steamers. A little bit goes a really long way. I have also added them to steaming water that I put my face over to inhale the menthol steam and clear my sinuses. It works amazing. Just drop in half a crystal to boiling water that’s been poured into a bowl. Definitely recommend. When I make my shower steamers, I have a mortar and pestle that I specifically use for only crushing menthol because ingesting menthol is toxic and I don’t want to risk trace amounts getting into any of my herbs. I also strongly recommend wearing gloves if you will be handling the menthol by hand for products like shower steamers. I would also advise to be careful with menthol crystals and the products you make around pets, children and people with sensitive skin.

Due to a high sentitivity to many ingredients in just about all paste toothpaste I have been on a search for a good alternative. I like this mineral powder however it is a bit grainy and takes a while to get used to it. I do feel my teeth are cleaner using this powdered toothpaste.

Great quality Menthol crystals. And, large quantity for a great price. Take extra time to make sure the crystals dissolve fully in your heated oils, or double burner setup process. The crystals are transparent, so it is a little hard to tell if they fully disolve. (NOTE: For safety reasons, I would NOT melt them in your microwave. I may be overly cautious, but that is my preference.)
