GM Genuine Parts D1954F (20945129) Ebony Door Window Switch

Bought these to fix one of the switches not working to put the window down. Put in a 2017 Chevy Traverse. Beware that online videos just show you can pop out the plastic molding and replace but at this year level they plastic welded the molding in so you have to remove the interior door and get at the switch that way. With a helper you can do that and not remove the handle cable. Not bad after a bit of work, get a Auto Trim Removal Tool Set (No Scratch Plastic Pry Tool Kit) for $10 off Amazon to save scratching things up. Did not need any programming like AC Delco website mentioned. Worked right away and no issues a few weeks later.

My drivers side control would not work the passenger side window. This fixed it. If you have similar issue where a window will work at the door, but not from the drivers door, this will likely fix it. From the other reviews, it appears to be a common problem. The video on installation (Utube) showed you taking a screwdriver, or I would use plastic, prybar to remove the cover on the door handle. Unscrew the 2 10mm bolts and remove. Pry up the pad containing the swithches from the front of the pad (toward engine). The video showed taking the whole switch out. I did not do this as it was easier to unclip (by squeezing) the two wire connectors and then spreading the sides of the housing (two clips on each side) to remove just the problem part. Snap it back in and you're done. I can see why some of the reviewers said that you can just clean the contacts and the switches will work again. It's really easy enough to get out. I could have also bought a GM knockoff for half the price, but I only wanted to fix this once. I could see buying the knockoff, as it was REALLY easy to replace. Now I can control all my windows and peace has returned to the valley. I was really worried that I would have to take off the door panel, but this was great.

Part was exactly what I needed. Took maybe five minutes to install. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the corners were worn. I believe that is from the part being in a box without buble wrap to keep it from moving around in the box during shipping.

my passenger side front and rear windows would go down, but not up using the drivers controls; i had to reach over and use the respective window's control to put the window back up. figured it had something to do with the drivers window switch unit. ordered this unit, it came in 24 hours. it took all of 5 minutes to take the pull handle off the door, pop the little cover off, pull the old switch unit out and plug the new one in. perfect fit and it fixed my problem of not having the windows go up. i installed this in my 2011 chevy silverado 1500 LT Z71. tutorials for removing the door panel can be found on youtube, but you only need the first couple seconds of them to remove the pull handle and then pop the window switch cover portion off. you do not have to remove the entire door panel. you'll need a 10mm socket and something flat like a narrow putty knife to pop the cover off the pull handle.

My window switches have not worked properly for a few years now. This was an exact fit and I now can open and close all my windows from the drivers side. All the other switches also work now so the main one in the drivers door must have been affecting the other three.

I have buy an 30 $ cheap part and retun it your better buying this one who will last years for shure The aftermarket had bad connector and no waterproofing Would fail for sure with an open window on a rany day The ac delco have something covering the connectors
