Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook

Crammed pack full of recipes and helpful tips. Had to chuckle because this is a small paperback book. I was expecting it to be like my original one I got in 1994. It’s a gift so they’ll like it. But it is cute.

Good recipes , nice book . Would make a good gift

It has the same recipes that I remember loving! The front cover was torn but it is a used book that is in good condition. I was surprised that it was the thicker paperback version but I don’t read the description thoroughly. I thought I was looking for the bigger, more user friendly hard back. Overall, great edition. Just wasn’t the form I would’ve liked.

It feels like having a piece of my childhood again :) I saw a handful of reviews saying it was quite small, but I decided to get it anyway and honestly? It’s not too small at all. Maybe they were expecting the original binder-type? I’d say it’s about average size for a paperback and certainly easy enough to read for me. I would call it “easily portable” which is actually exciting for me and my baking friends

I wanted to replace my old coy of this cookbook. I placed the order because of the very affordable price of $10 and change. I didn't realize it was going to be a standard paperback size. The print is small and it is difficult to use while trying to follow a recipe. The paperback size makes it very difficult to have the book open on the counter. The book is small, thick and difficult to use. I gave it away.

I bought this cookbook for my son who does a lot of cooking for his wife and son. He has always loved to cook but has never had this cookbook. I was given this cookbook when I was 15 (and am now 75) and have just about worn in out in the 60 years I have been cooking. I have my favorite sections and have used it so much that the cover fell apart and now the pages will not stay in the binder I had to put the book in. It is my go-to cookbook. This has to be one of the very best cookbooks. I have also bought this book 3 years ago and gave to my granddaughter. I would highly recommend to anyone.

It’s very small and so tightly bound that it will not stay open. This is not useable for cooking recipes unless you have a photographic memory and do not need to reference the page with the recipe on it while actively cooking.

Probably my favorite cookbook. This is my second time purchasing as I wore out my first one. It's old-school, you won't find air fryer, instapot, etc. type recipes but if you have cooking experience you can adapt the recipes easily for the modern appliances. Will definitely continue using this cookbook in my home for as long as I am able to cook and bake.

My mum had a BH&G cookbook but when she passed 23 years ago, my older brother wanted her cookbooks. I let him because at the time I didn’t really cook so didn’t realise the value of a great cookbook. Over the years I would remember things she used to make and it made me a bit sad that I didn’t know how to make them too. I moved to Australia over a decade ago and though the food here is phenomenal, it made me miss her cooking even more sometimes. I finally decided to look into purchasing my own copy of a BH&G cookbook. This isn’t the edition she had (hers was older) but I have found several recipes for my favourite dishes she used to make and now I can have a taste of mums homemade cooking again! So happy!

Wonderful recipes

Bought this as it was the cookbook my mother had growing up. It is deliciously from the 90s and I am so excited to make something from it. Also arrived much earlier than expected.

Smaller paperback than I thought I was getting as I know someone with this book and it is paperback but it is cookbook size. Oh well, guess I didn’t pay enough attention to what it was. I like that I know what the ingredients are and it’s down to earth cooking with lots of other info in it besides all the recipes.

かなり基本的な事から載っているのでお料理初心者のバイブルになりうる本です。 カテゴリー分けされている構成もわかりやすく、レシピの数も多いので長く愛用することができると思います。 ただし勿論、和食系のレシピはありません。アメリカンな家庭料理の修行にはもってこいです！
