I make multiple batches of herbal medicines. I purchased these replaceable blending units to save time and to not cross contaminate herbal ingredients. To make this possible I don’t use the blender pitcher, I use Mason/Ball jars and attach the blending units to the jars. Unfortunately, the threads of the black screw on portion do not work with the Mason/Ball jars. The threads do not line up to the jars. The blending blade and washers work great just not the black screw on ring. The whole replacement unit does work for the original blender pitcher.

Instead of buying a new blender often, just change the blade

I own a Galaxie Osterizer blender w/14 settings plus pulse and hi/low from 1978. The rubber washer was leaking as well as the base plate that had dings in it. This set of parts restored the blender to full operation with zero leaks. No more slow leak and now runs like new. Highly recommend. It easily breaks up ice cubes. The new set of blades work as well as the original and it has copper back to keep it from going bad, it took yrs for the original to get dings. The original also had copper backing on the reverse side of the blades.

My blender was still good so these served the purpose. They fit tight with no leaks. The extra rings will come in handy. I decided not to put them in the dishwasher anymore. I think the high heat may deteriate the rings.
