Douwe Egberts Pure Indulgence Instant Coffee (190g)

I've been trying to find an instant coffee that tastes like fresh ground coffee. Impossible right? When I received Douwe Egberts Pure Indulgence Dark Roast, I immediately made myself a cup. I usually like my coffee a little stronger so I used half a tablespoon of this coffee in my mug, not a small coffee cup. I added my half n half and a teaspoon of honey. Then I used my hand held "frother" to make sure it blended well. Then I took a sip. Oh my goodness! This is the best instant coffee I've tried so far! I'm still drinking it as I type this review. It's smooth with NO bitter taste. It comes in a glass jar with a rubber seal, The label says its a product of the Netherlands. This is the end of my search, I'm going to move to the Netherlands! LOL

Great tasting coffee even though it’s instant!

Ok, not great, will use for travel or quick iced coffee in hot weather. I got the caramel instead of the regular and did’nt bother to exchange. It’s ok but I wouldn’t order either flavor again.

This is my favorite coffee, instant though it may be. I can't even bear Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts coffee since I discovered Douwe Egberts. However, in the eight or so years since I started buying it, the price has almost doubled, so I now I just use it a treat, or adding some of it it to the mushroom coffee I'm drinking now. But Douwe Egberts remains my favorite, despite the cost.

If you haven’t tried instant coffee before (or worse - you’ve tried Folgers or Nescafé instant coffee), this is a perfect instant coffee to try. Instant coffee has slightly less caffeine than drip coffee or K cups, but the flavor of gourmet instant coffee like this is often much better and much more convenient to make. You can change the strength of the coffee easily, and a cup can be made as quickly as you can get hot water. I don’t notice a huge difference between this brand and Davidoff (both are great), but I do like to switch between the two just to get some variety.

Item arrived without the lid being sealed and the contents were scattered through the bag and box. From reading other reviews, this appears to be a recurring problem with this product.

Never would I think I was finking instant coffee! So flavorful! So happy to have this again without traveling to South Africa for it!

I LOVE coffee, but I also love easy! This one is SO yummy. I would use it in Australia and had not found it in Canada, so glad Amazon sells it.

This is definitely what would be termed an after-dinner coffee rather than an all-day one. Douwe Egberts quality is maintained here.

Seal was broken. Could be contaminated, tampered with or anything. I can't accept this.

Delicious coffee. Was introduced to this years ago when someone gave me a couple jars of this. Great smooth flavour.
