Case for my Droid X smartphone
I was looking for any easy open and remove case for my Droid X. This case works perfectly from a fit and removal standpoint. Because I use the Droid X in the car mount you cannot use most plastic covers. I tried the quick release holder from Motorola but it was a pain to get in and out -- clothing like a sport coat would get caught in it. With this simple, small, Slim case, I get good protection and the quickest draw for my Droid X.

Smaller than described
The Lowepro Dublin camera case comes in 3 sizes, identified as 10, 20 and 30. The Lowepro web page gives the interior dimensions of the Dublin 20 case as 3.5"W x 1.3"D x 4.7"H and recommends it for my Sony Cybershot DSC-HX7V camera, which measures 2.2"W x 1.1"D x 4.0"H, which includes a fairly large hand grip. These case dimensions are a little smaller than shown on Amazon.com, but still large enough for my camera, so I ordered it. Unfortunately, the Lowepro and Amazon web pages are both wrong! The Dublin 20 case interior dimensions are actually only 2.8"W x 0.9"D x 3.9"H. And the opening at the top of the case is even more restrictive, 2.4"W x 0.7"D. The opening is elastic, so my camera did fit into the case, but the fit was snug and it took some effort to get it in and out. But the case was too short to stuff the camera's wrist strap into the top of the case above the camera and then close the flap. If I let the wrist strap dangle outside the case, it would close. But the dangling strap might get caught on something. Therefore, I returned the Dublin 20 case and ordered the similar but larger Dublin 30 case. Amazon paid the return postage because I selected "not as described" as the reason for the return. The Dublin 30 case is also smaller than its claimed dimensions. The Lowepro web page shows 3.5"W x 1.8"D x 5.1"H, but I measured only 3.5"W x 1.1"D x 4.5"H. The elastic opening at the top of the case is only 2.8"W x 0.9"D. The Dublin 30 is large enough for my Sony DSC-HX7V, but too small for larger cameras recommended on the Lowepro web page, like the Canon G11/G12. Other reviewers have reported that the Lowepro web page recommended the wrong case for their cameras, too. It's unfortunate that Lowepro doesn't know the dimensions of their own products! This detracts from the quality of their products and probably causes lost sales and unhappy customers, not to mention extra handling costs for online retailers. Setting aside the inaccurate dimensions, the Lowepro Dublin in either size is a very good camera case, so I gave it 4 stars. It's well made and sturdy, with a wide belt loop that is securely attached to the back of the case. The Velcro flap (aka "hook and loop") is convenient to open and close, but of course it provides less protection from dust and rain than a zipper closure. There is some padding inside the case, but very little, so it might not protect your camera from rough handling. There's a small pocket under the flap for a spare memory card. I haven't used this, but the pocket is snug, so I suspect it would be difficult to get the card out. The pocket is too small for spare battery. I would recommend the Lowepro Dublin case if it fits your camera and you're looking for the convenience of a Velcro flap closure.

Perfect for my needs
I purchased this case for my new Olympus TG-1. I am a helicopter crewchief in the Army, and want to have my camera on me all the time, and able to get to it quickly. My requirements were a velcro closure, and a belt loop. The Dublin 30 has both. I only wish the belt loop was able to open like my previous Lowepro pouch (a snap and velcro closure on the loop), this one I have to thread my belt through. Not a big though. Pleanty of room for my camera, and very light weight.

HTC EVO 4G perfect, 1 year owned and....
Okay, one corner has come lose (unraveled) and I had to ask kindly to the boss, AKA: the wife to sew it up, now the other corner has come lose (Unraveled) and it's once again time to ask the boss to sew it up. This case is awesome, but after one year it's starting to show its true colors. Buy this, you won't be disappointed, just know it'll need some TLC maintenance.

easy access, maximum protection
Lowepro is the industry leader in camera cases, but the Dublin models (all sizes) are unique in that you can get at the pocket digital camera easily, but still it's very well protected. Zippers make access iffy; the Dublin relies on high-quality velcro.

My mistake...maybe
Somewhere got the idea that I could fit a Canon EOS M into it. Only works with no lens on the camera.

It's a wet suit for your canon powershot g12
This is a review for anyone considering this bag for their Canon G12. As a Lowepro camera bag owner I am very satisfied with the construction of their camera bags. They have a wide selection for how you want the bag to function. I found this Dublin 30 bag from Lowepro's bag selector app. They suggested a few bags for the G12; and I chose this one because I wanted something small and simple to protect my camera. All I needed from this bag is the ability to quickly slip the camera in and out. I am giving this bag two stars because it does not meet my "protection" : "ease of use" (ratio). The bag is pretty much like a wetsuit for your Canon G12. It takes a little more effort to slip it in and slip it out; but once it's in it fits really tight. Underneath the flap is a slot for storing an extra SD card. I would not trust putting my spare SD card in it. Because it takes more effort to take the G12 in and out, I worry that I'd bend and damage the card. The Dublin 30 also comes with a belt loop. Since the G12 is so bulky and wont fit in most pockets comfortably, the belt loop can come in handy for securing the G12 on your body. Though this is nice to have, I can imagine the awkwardness in trying to take the camera out and putting it back in. Though it may not be functional, the belt loop is something good to have regardless. I've owned this bag for a few weeks now and it hasn't stretched out much. I hoping that it will stretch out some more. This is probably otherwise a good bag for other cool gadgets. I am giving this bag 2-stars because Lowepro suggested this as a bag that would work for my G12. It hasnt to my expectations; hence the low rating.

Very pleased with this. I wanted a case that would protect my Olympus XZ-1 but not prevent me from pocketing it. It's a pretty snug fit for the XZ-1 but it does go in. For the money I'm pleased with what I got.

The case is an extremely tight & snug fit for my Nikon Coolpix P7100. It takes a few additional seconds both to remove & replace camera, having to stretch the case over the lens & viewfinder of the camera. But still, I'm very happy with the case. I used the bag selector on the Lowepro website to choose the case. http://www.lowepro.com/bagfinder Update: Three overnights of stretching with a soup can stuffed inside the case, result - the camera now slips in & out the case so easily. Perfect fit!
