Great gift!
Very fun toy! My 10yr old likes it! COULDNT GET TO WORK AT FIRST- it would just buzz continuously. We found that you really have to use FRESH batteries otherwise you may think it’s a defect.

It’s fun but cheap
My daughter likes it but it’s cheap. The description all over the internet made it seem more real but you literally just push a button on the side for if you want it to say someone is lying and then it turns red or the other button to make it green.

This is a TOY!!! Nothing more. It’s a child’s toy do not expect accuracy. It’s a TOY!!! My 9 year old enjoys this toy. So what can I say. I probably would have definitely choose something else.

What a cute gadget from the Project Mc2 line. My 6-yr old daughter has proclaimed herself to be the show's #1 fan and was so excited when we surprised her with Bryden's lie detector test. We've found the gadget to be a little faulty at times (don't use if fingers are too sweaty), but works well overall. Can't wait to see what gadgets from the show they release next!!

Didn't work ... right out of the box!
Bought in October as a Christmas present. When my daughter opened it and was excited to play with it we learned right away that it didn't work at all. We have changed the battery several times and nothing happens when you push the buttons that are supposed to tell whether you're lying or telling the truth. Do not buy. Complete waste of money. And, there no chance to return now because the 30 day window has passed.

It's a toy, and it's well worth it!
My 8 year old daughter loves this, and we have all had fun with it. I read a lot of bad reviews that said it didn't work, but they didn't explain what didn't work. In many cases the reviewers didn't explain whether it arrived broken, or if they were able to lie without the TOY picking up on it. I imagine it works to a degree, but honestly, does anybody expect an FBI grade lie detector for forty-couple dollars? This is a child's toy, and not a terribly expensive one. It made my daughter's Christmas, and we all had fun with it. Based on the reviews, I knew it was a gamble. I'm glad I gambled I highly recommend this TOY.

disappointing product
Didn't really work at all. my granddaughter was disappointed. It gave the same reading basically everytime, even when the person was lying on purpose, it still had a positive response. waste of money

Fun!
My 9 year old loves project MC2.. This is fun and cute.. Does it work? no lol. But they have a blast with it, even if it's not accurate. Super fun and highly recommended.

My daughter wanted this really badly. I wasn't expecting high quality and told her that it was likely just a gimmick toy but kids want what they want and this was it. It *works* as in beeps and lights up, but it doesn't actually work. If the room and your hands are cold and dry you are telling the truth, if it's warm and your hands are sweaty you are lying. It was exactly what I was expecting but she was disappointed.
