I purchased and installed these Aluminum LED strip profiles 1.5 years ago and I am very happy with them still.It's been very easy to work with them and they look great still, the white plastic cover stayed white rather than turning yellowish.It can be difficult at first to fit the cover until you find the trick and the trick is to install one side first and then slide and snap the rest of it in place.It was probably the cheapest I found on Amazon at that time and although it's now £5 more I believe it's still worth it for a pack of 12.

If you've finally gotten round to installing LED strips as mood/ambient lighting, but now you hate how you can so easily see each individual LED and/or you want more diffused lighting*, then this channel system with aluminium backplate and plastic diffuse cover is a quick and relatively easy way of upgrading your LED lights.I personally bought this set primarily for the aluminum backing plate, as the sticky that comes pre-installed on most LED strips is naff and I wanted a semi-permanent solution. Getting the LED strip situated was easy, and then the assembled pieces were easy to install on the wall. The semi-diffusion layer doesn't affect brightness to any noticeable degree, but it does lessen the 'harshness' that our LED strip gave out on some colours/brightness levels.* the actual degree of light diffusion will vary dramatically from setup to setup (depending on how many LEDs per metre, etc), and likely will NOT fully diffuse the light. If you want maximum light diffusion on a budget, you can buy diffuser tape which can be ran along the LED strip to improve light diffusion.

Well I'm still in the middle of fitting these and I'm needing to mod to get a good fit. The quality of the product is not so much the issue. What this boils down to is that unless your chosen location is a perfect 90 degrees then you may have bother and might be better with a flat single surface option. By that I mean you need to be able to put a set square in the corner of where you want to mount these, see no gaps and have no play on it for the contained clips to be effective. If the clips had more of a lip on them to retain the rail it might be more forgiving. I on the other hand will be drilling and screwing direct to the wall.

Used this for a wled strip which fitted well. Easy to cut. Bit of a knack to clip in the diffuser but they are probably all like that. Overlapped the diffuser so to improve joint hiding. Mounting clips are OK as they have a gentle hold rather than solid so are easily unclipped. Outside use I just drilled through the channel.Ordered a 2nd set for another strip.

The Diffuser is really great and builds quality as well for the money you pay.I've some issues regarding missing the mounting bits but Kimmy solve that so 5 starts for thatRegarding installation, it was a little confusing about whether should I slide the diffuser or try to clip it that is something you need to take into account, so just clip the diffuser not slide.Overall, great product, and great support.

Mine doesn’t seem to look like the ones shown by other reviewers. The extrusions are solid but the lids are absolutely rubbish and bend by the time you eventually get them to clip onto one side.Also noticed how narrow the extrusions are, I have regular LED tape that doesn’t quite fit inside which is surprising as it’s pretty thin.Definitely cannot get a Philips Hue light strip in that’s for sure so half of them are going to be going in the bin.

Very good set of LED light diffuser. I did a bit of research and at the time of the purchase these were the most competitive price int he market. This also means that you will be able to see the individual LED dots. Do not expect a high end product.I was half drunk when I installed these and had 0 problems whatsoever. Do take not that there was no instructions included in the package so its either common sense or a quick installation video on YouTube.Would recommend for a quick and easy installation.

This will not take the phillips hue V4 strips. The diffuser is difficult to fit in to the channel too.Had to ask for a refund which was organised very quickly, hence 3 stars.
