Great item

The Lego Sanderson Sisters Cottage is very detailed but not a lot of light gets in there to see these details. This kit is perfect at adding some illumination in there. You get a battery pack, a log pair of blunt tweezers and the lights themselves. I really recommend watching the video tutorial to put the lights in along with using the the picture instructions included in the book in this kit. The little tweezers are a nice inclusion, I didn't think I would end up using them when I first opened up the bags but found myself happy to have the option. You do have to take quite a few of the decorative elements out of your build to put these lights in, but they quickly go back in their places. We are dealing with some very small elements so it was quite fiddly in parts but not so bad, as long as you are gentle. I am very happy with this kit, if you are thinking about getting one, do it! It really makes it more magical looking!

Awesome once fitted but instructions are a nightmare. Points to areas which are blind to you. Normally on instructions they show blind/back side of where things should be fitted via a pic in a box. Think I will be fitting the lights how I want them

This was quite tricky to install (the set was pre-built) particularly working out where to thread the very thin wires out the back to the battery pack, squeezing wires in and manipulating the building and its layers as you build up the lighting. The instructions are pictures that show you what to 'unpick' and swap out. I do like that the Lightailing team are Lego fans! Also, when installed it does mean that you can't really separate the layers so probably not something to use if you want to 'play' with the set. However, for display purposes it looks very cool when installed, you can actually see into the rooms and the LED are different colours to suit the area of the set where they are added. The fountain one even cycles through colours! I don't tend to have the lights on for long periods of time, just a few mins to switch on and admire...

I have used a few Lightailing kits now and have found them good, you need to take your time and handle the wires with care and you will end up with a good result

This is a gift for my grandson, he will be made up with it. He is a Star Wars nut and having read the box it is good value and Lego is always great quality and will look great in his bedroom.

Item was faulty when delivered.

It was difficult at times to dismantle the castle fit and hide the tiny wires then reassemble the castle but it was worth the hassle. The directions that come with the light kit are good and work. The finished item looks amazing

The build went well, the only issue I encountered was that there are two identical twin yellow lights under a 1x4 plate, one for the ceiling inside the car and one for under the hood, with no specific identification on either of them. I discovered I picked the wrong one for under the hood when the red taillights couldn't reach the back of the car. I had to redo a few steps, switch the yellow lights and reassemble everything in order to have taillights that I could put at the back of the car. Otherwise, seamless and nice looking!

Il montaggio richiede comunque una buona pazienza, le istruzioni non sempre chiarissime ma con calma ci si arriva e l' effetto finale Lego 42130 Technic BMW M 1000 RR è bellissimo. in alcuni punti soprattutto sui fari ho alla fine usato della colla, anche se lo spessore dei fili è minimo ma faceva spessore e si staccava.
