Avery Removable Labels, 4" x 6" Blank Labels, Laser/Inkjet Printable, 40 per Pack (5454)

Great for everyday use. I use both white labels and black labels to help easily locate my storage bins. Not easily removable from plastic boxes. More of a forever product. I love all avery products (labels) so this was a easy yes for me.

I recently built racks to hold storage bins in our attic. I wanted labels that were large enough to clearly see on the storage bins from a distance and strong enough to stay adhered through cold and hot temperatures. Using the template from the Avery website, printing them on my laser printer was a breeze. Also, it was easy to peel the backing and apply. So far, these labels are working great.

5-star labels for the price. I use them to print shipping labels for items I sell on eBay and they are excellent. No problems with a laser printer and they adhere properly, yet they can also be removed without tearing if you're slow and patient peeling them off. They're a little see through so I wouldn't recommend them for covering a previous shipping label, however in my case they are going on a plain box so this isn't a concern. Avery does make 4x6 shipping labels which are a little thicker to cover previous shipping labels, but those are double the price per sticker compared to these labels. Unless you're reusing shipping boxes and need to cover existing labels, I would definitely recommend these.

This label is great for labeling totes, esp if you don’t want that nasty sticky residue. However, word of caution, these labels are not meant to be reused or repositioned several times. You can reuse or reposition maybe once, but the adhesion starts to wear off, esp in the corners. (I would equate the adhesion to post-it notes type of glue) Otherwise, they work great! I have not used them long-term or under extreme temp conditions, so keep that in mind if those conditions apply to you.

I always use these Avery labels for labeling plastic storage boxes. You can easily cut these 4"x6" labels in half to make 4"x3" ones that are usually a good size for medium size boxes. They stick very well yet peel off easily with no residue at all. In fact, it is amazing how well they work in this respect. They accept Sharpie ink perfectly, with no bleeding or smudging. I'm really happy to have found these labels. Forget about using tape, etc., for labeling your storage boxes. These are what you need. Highly recommended!

They stick to the black and yellow garage storage bins all the big box stores sell, and they print well in the manual tray of my HP black & white laser. Adhesion to the storage bins could be better. It not super strong but they do hold well enough.

I love these overall for labeling totes, however, 5 stars if using on clear/smooth bins, 1 star if using on slightly textured bins. I have used these on the grey Sterlite totes that have a slight texture and they do not adhere well (see photos). They will stay on, but start to roll up on the corners over time. I have also used them on clear plastic totes and they adhere fantastic (see photo). Super easy to use the Avery website to design cute labels for everything you need!
