very cute childrens book, well written and easy for young children to follow. I can simply say "space saver" and they will step back and think about how close they are to the other person.

Great book to teach younger children about personal space. I have an autistic five year old who is still working on understanding social cues and this book has been a great help. Now when he gets a bit too close, I use the phrase “you’re being a space invader” and it immediately clicks. Overall, recommend.

This book was recommended to me by a pre-school teacher to help my son with his invasion of other's personal space. This has helped give us language around personal space using animal characters (his preferred type of characters) and we use the terminology all the time now: "Be space saver, not a space invader!" We talk about how other kids who get in his personal space may not know this kind of information yet, so we should help teach them that they can learn to be a space saver too by using our words to tell them when they are in our personal space. Highly recommend this book along with the "Personal Space Camp" book to teach about personal space.
