Good value . Use it as an external ssd on my 2017 iMac which has a slow hdd. Good quality, the cover is very nice addition.

9Mbps throughput on Intel MacBook but not M1
Used this enclosure with a Solidigm P44 Pro 2TB SSD. I was able to get about 9Mbps transfers on my old Intel MacBookPro when connected directly to the USB-C port on the MacBookPro. However, it was NOT recognized at all on my M1 MacBookPro when directly connected via USB-C, not even the blue power light. Defective? This behavior happened on 2 other M1 MacBookPro. Connect a USB-C hub and connect the enclosure via USB-A to the hub on the M1 MacBookPro, it works but only got 4-5Mbps transfers. I think the chips etc used in this enclosure is defective at recognizing TB4 ports. I am keeping is since I bought the enclosure several months ago and didn't discover this issue with M1 MacBook until now. Will I buy again? NO. There are other enclosure that don't have this issue at the same price point. Installation was very straightforward and had no issues.

Great SSD Enclosure!
The enclosure is well made, and very easy to use. The bundled USB A/Type C cable is very handy. Wish it doesn't require a screw driver to open it.

Nice little enclosure
I really like this enclosure. Had a little hiccup with it at first but a few emails to Trebleet customer support and everything was running fine.
