A replacement for an Oxy that lasted five years. Isn't 5 years pretty good?
I should start this with the last paragraph where I've already given this five stars, told you how to apply this bar in 5-10 seconds, and why I'm getting anothe, the shorter one. If you want to read about my history with shower (or bath) grab bars, be my guest... About 10 years ago, I started to have poblems with balance. It was bad enough when I was out hiking, but I soon became concerned about slipping and/or falling in the shower. I bought a suction grab bar made by Oxy (?) and after five years it began to slip in its position on the shower wall, and last spring it started to fall off at least once a week. Seems to have good suction, but two weeks ago, I took a good look at it off the wall. The suction pads had cracked and I knew I needed a new suction bar. When I need something like this poduct which has been around 50 years, I look at what's available on Amazon. After 22 years of reading (and writing reviews), I've learned to read the one star first, and then the five star. Very often, I toss out all of the one star. A review based on the customer's carelessness is ridiculous. And those reviews with one stars because the product came damaged or "didn't work as expected" are of little value. I look at four star reviews as most reliable. That said, I'm giving this shower bar five stars! Our shower is a "one-piece" molded kind. We have no tiles and, therefore, this bar should stick well, and it sure did. I "installed" (press two levers and the thing grips the wall, the same as all the other suction products). It stuck! Boy, did it stick. I had to get a little air under the cups in order to move it. I eyeballed where I wanted it, put it in place, and repeated the five second process. I will be very surprised it this moves, falls, or doesn't protect me when I have my klutz moment. I am so pleased, I'm ordering the shorter one for the front wall (at an angle to the left of the shower head). The color changes when you're snapping these bars into place is just a gimmick. (I don't think this one has a green or red indicator ... and neither did the one that was up for five years.) When you press the tabs, the suction cups will immediately hold if you've provided even a little pressure. Don't worry if you you need to adjust it: just lift the two little tabs and get some air under the cups ... and move it. Simple. So easy to install, I'm reluctant to use the word, "install." Moveable, but take a minute or two to decide where you want it. I put mine on at an angle because it's best if there's an angle to grab on to. Horizontal bars are fine for hanging a towel or washcloth, not so good keeping 180 pounds upright.

Safety Shower Grab bar
The Taili shower grab bar was very easy to install in 5 minutes. The suction on the ends hold it sturdy in place, without any movement. It helps me when getting in and out of my tub/shower. A good value for your money and much cheaper than having a contractor install one. It adds to my comfort zone knowing that I have added safety entering and exiting the tub/shower.

Great Grab Bars — Warm to the Touch, Easy to Grip, and Very Secure When Installed Correctly
What I like most about these grab bars is that they’re plastic, so they’re not cold when you reach for them. They also have a nice, comfortable thickness that makes them easy to grab. A lot of people mention installation issues, but the instructions are actually right about one thing: the suction cups must sit fully on a single tile. If even part of a suction cup lands on a grout line, it won’t seal properly. But if you position them so each suction cup is completely inside the tile, they attach firmly. Installed correctly, they stay securely in place and can handle real weight if you need to grab them during a slip.

Secure and stable
Just what I needed!!! Support for getting out of the bathtub. The sides of the tub are high and with my arthritis it just needed something for stability when getting out of the tub . These Grab bars have great suction and feel very secure. Very easy to apply to the wall.

EXCELLENT SUPPORT for SHOWER
I like this suction handle for my shower. But one side will not stay tight to the wall and I’ve waited too long to return it. I know that it messes up so it’s OK. So you take the plastic off and it’s got sticky on it, but it’s also got suction and it is definitely a wonderful thing to have in the shower if you’re 60+ or if you just need an extra support.

Good while it holds—-till it doesn’t. Beware.
These are sturdily-made and we’ve had no issues, till now, a couple years later. The suction has held fine, but today one handle decided it didn’t want to stick to the tile (which is in good shape) any more. Hearing thump in the bathroom, I found it had fallen off by itself. I reattached it firmly, using the clips, and it seemed to be fine till a half hour later when it came off again. It’s great when it holds, but keep in mind that any product like this requires a certain amount of caution. ——update, March 2025: a couple months later, this same handle fell off again, by itself. The other handle continues to hold. Go figure. Caveat emptor. ——update, February 2026: we had discarded the faulty handle and just carefully used the remaining one. Today that fell off. Re-attached for a bit, then came off again. No longer recommended—it’s not trustworthy, especially for infirm people. Must retract the original 5-stars.

5 star piece of mind.
Seems very well made and the wood grain finish looks amazing. They grip the shower walls like super glue, but they can be removed in a few seconds. Provides great protection from dangerous shower falls.

My newly renovated shower has one major problem: it does not have a step for leg shaving. So, I was very happy to get this “Shower Grab Bar”. 1. Quality The product is made of sturdy white plastic, with coloured inserts. The plastic is shiny so far, but I don’t know how it will look when exposed to soapy water. The product itself is waterproof, though, and is designed for bathroom use. The grab bar features suction cups that create a secure, waterproof, and safe seal on smooth surfaces. In terms of the visual appeal, this bar is not cute. It looks exactly like on the product page, sturdy and reliable, but it has no decoration power. But in my situation, as well as satisfying the safety needs, I would value comfort over appearance. The bar has a maximum weight capacity of 240 pounds (108.86 kg). My weight is below that, so stepping on it would be safe for me. 2. Installation and usage The installation, including measurement, took less than 5 minutes. I followed the steps recommended by the manual. First, I placed the grab bar on the shower wall, ensuring that the suction cups do not overlap with the seams. Then, I pressed both suction cups firmly against the wall. At this point, I realized that the position I’ve chosen is not correct. At this point, the bar was slightly sitting on the suction cups (or, so I thought), so I tried to detach it. But, even slightly pressed, the bar couldn’t detach! So, I used a small pull tongue on the edge of the cup, and luckily, it worked. Finally, I pulled down the latches on each suction cup. And it was attached absolutely securely at this point. I tried to press on it and pull it, and it wouldn’t move. When I was stepping on it in the shower, it also felt sturdy and secure. I didn’t notice any water penetration under the suction cups. Hopefully, there will be no mould growth or soap residue. Anyway, I always spray the walls with a daily shower cleaner, and then wipe the walls dry. After this procedure, the bar looked like new. By the way, I checked if the bar glows in the dark, as they promised... it didn't. Anyway, I think this is a very convenient shower appliance, both to increase comfort and security.

This bar has not loosened and it's been months since I stuck it on the tiles. Good product!

I recently ordered the TAILI Shower Grab Bar and was eager to install it and test it out so I could share my opinion. After using it for two days, I can confidently say I’m very pleased with this shower bar. Installation was incredibly easy, no drilling or tools required!!. Just make sure to thoroughly clean the surface first and remove any grease or soap residue from the wall. I also recommend stepping into the shower and simulating how you exit the tub to find the best placement for proper support. Once positioned, press the suction cups firmly against the wall and fold down the tabs, it adheres securely within seconds. The grab bar feels very sturdy and provides excellent support, giving me real peace of mind when stepping out of the shower. One feature I especially appreciate is the glow-in-the-dark design. It makes the handle easy to locate in low-light conditions, which is a thoughtful and practical touch, especially for seniors or anyone needing extra safety at night. This feature really helps TAILI stand out from other competitors and looks cool with the lights off, Lol. The grip is comfortable and non-slip, even when wet, and the waterproof design has held up perfectly so far. I also like that it’s removable and repositionable without leaving any marks, which makes it very convenient if you need to adjust the placement. I pulled it hard enough and did not move, feel that I almost brought the wall with me. Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed safety product that combines functionality with ease of use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve bathroom safety without the hassle of permanent installation—better safe than sorry.

These suction cup shower handles are a convenient solution for adding extra stability in the bathroom without any permanent installation. Setup is incredibly quick: just press them onto a smooth surface and lock the latches, and they’re ready to use in seconds. No tools or drilling required, which makes them perfect for renters or temporary use. The grip feels secure thanks to the anti-slip strip on top and the ergonomic design underneath. It provides added confidence when stepping in and out of the shower or maintaining balance. The handles feel sturdy when properly installed and offer good support for light assistance. That said, it’s very important to follow the instructions and only use them on smooth, non-porous surfaces. They won’t work well on textured or uneven walls. Overall, these are a practical and thoughtful safety addition, especially for seniors or anyone needing a bit of extra support.
