MDH kitchen king blend of spices (3.5 oz)

As a native Michigander, I have dabbled in making Indian food, not really knowing what I was doing. I have several Indian coworker I asked for advice on what recipes to try and any tricks they could suggest. All of them suggested buying and using this spice blend. I was told, "Though none would admit it, all Indian grandmothers use this." I tried it years ago and buy a new box every six months or so. It's amazing.

My Indian friend says his mom sends him this brand from New Delhi. That’s a good endorsement, and I consider it to be one of my “rescue” ingredients. If my Indian dish needs something, a bit of this mix does the trick. Fantastic.

Did not have any problems when received. Use frequently in Indian cooking.

This ingredient is suggested in one of my favorite recipes. The product is not readily available in the area where I live, and I was pleased to find it readily available at a reasonable price, through Amazon. Shipping time was reasonable and reliable.

I love this spice but dry spices have a shelf life of a couple years. The best by date on this one is only a couple months out. It looks like I was given old stock. Not cool.
