I recently purchased the Ankle Holster with Padding for Concealed Carry and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This is a very well made holster and has a really strong velcro closure. I use it to carry a snubnosed revolver and it was very comfortable at first, but has really become unbearable to wear lately. But, that is more natural when carrying a revolver in an ankle holster (due to the protruding cylinder) and not really a fault in the holster. It's just something to keep in mind if that's what you're buying it for. I imagine that it would remain very wearable when used with an automatic.

This is deffinately an inexpensive holster. I've worn it for one outing (about 6 hours) with a fair amount of walking. The only problem I had was the stitching on the velcro strap to hold the gun in place isn't flush and rubbed a sore spot on my bare leg. Will try with taller socks next time and see what happens. With a pair of flare leg jeans and cowgirl boots the butt of my gun was barely noticable. I usually carry a small .22 semi auto and it just fit. Wouldn't want to carry anything smaller or much bigger. For the price it is a good starter holster for someone looking to experiment with carrying on your ankle.

I have had this holster for well over a month now and have really put it through its paces It is very comfortable to wear and can be worn on either leg either on the outside or inside of your ankle. Since I am a left handed shooter I preferred wearing it on the outside of my left leg but also wore it on the inside of my right leg for a cross draw, This particular holster is very versatile and can hold many different firearms and offers a top strap for excellent retention. The retention strap does not impede drawing your firearm. The holster releases smoothly and offers excellent access with a quick smooth draw, The holster fastens quickly and comfortably with large Velcro panels to hold it securely to your leg/ankle. I did not experience any slippage while walking around after fastening the holster. Concealment will be better with smaller subcompact models and looser fitting dress slacks, casual Khakis or chinos compared to jeans. I experienced some slight printing when wearing the holster under my jeans (my jeans are regular fit...not skinny jeans and not relaxed fit). The holster arrived quickly after ordering and in a neat tidy package. It stores virtually flat and takes up very little room in my gun safe and holster drawer. This product is very inexpensive and though I needed something cheap and simple I hoped it would at least be of some use. I was wrong. Not much of a Velcro surface area for any real secure fit. The item DOES NOT FIT unless you wear it over a boot. It does not fit just an ankle unless your ankle is the size of Shaq. In no way adjustable. Strongly consider another option if you’re thinking of buying this product.

Of all the holsters I've owned for conceal carry, whether belly band, chest or inside the waist at the hip, this is the best one for a small pistol. I use it for my Ruger LC9. It rides comfortably just above the ankle and doesn't create a "bulge" in the pants leg. Since the ankle is smaller in diameter than the calf, the holster will slide down to the shoe so it's best to position it as low as possible when first putting it on. After that it's snug and drawing the firearm is as easy as any other conceal carry holster I have and easier than most. I've worn it all day at times and have actually forgotten that I'm armed so I have to be careful about which stores, restaurants or public buildings I plan to shop so as not to run afoul of the rules.
