This air purifier is Very quiet and does the job. We have a cat and between cat hair and just plain ole dust, the vacuum cleaner canister was very full when I did my floors. Since we've had this purifier, there is Very little dust on the furniture and only a Small amount collected when I vacuum. Both my husband and I have allergies which have improved since we've purchased the machine. It's so nice to breathe clean air. Highly Recommend!!!

I purchased this unit and place it in the living room. The unit was very easy to set up, just follow the instructions. The noise is non existent and it has been working great. I have only had the unit less than a week, so we shall see in about a month. The air quality is good. The dust removal is working (I dusted before setting up the unit and so far no dust). The timer for each unit is manually adjusted by me, which I do not have a problem with because I work from home. You may run the unit in increments of 2 hours, up to 8 hours. It automatically shutdown after your selected time. The air freshness is definitely noticeable. We no longer wake up with stuffy noses and I noticed not a lot sneezing. So far, I am a fan of this air purifier. The area where the purifier is about 800 sq. ft.

Easy to use. Simple instructions on removing plastic from filter prior to use. Easy to understand instructions. The air quality in our home was ok, but now it is even better. Its allergy season in north Florida right now and running this purifier must be removing the infiltrating pine and oak pollen because we are breathing easier without congestion in the morning when we wake up. It is well worth the money to me. It runs quietly and automatically increases speed when necessary. Easy to move to different rooms in your home since it is on casters, but is lightweight with a carrying slot too. No complaints. Been using for a week and breathing easier.

I have one of these air filters on the first floor in a central area and one on the second floor, also in a central area. We live in the country and next door to a farmer. So, we often get a lot of dust when the farmer is harvesting. We also have 14 pet birds, one of which is a Moluccan Cockatoo, that produce a lot of dust. When I dust every 2-3 days, there is always a new layer of dust. My assumption is that this dust is settling from the air. I have had these two air purifiers running on high for a little over 2 weeks, and have noticed no fresh air smell as other reviewers have reported, but have noticed less dust in the air when the sun shines in the front window. When I first set them up, I was surprised the air quality light went immediately to green. Today I checked the filters, after 4 weeks, to see if they collected anything, and they looked as clean and new as the day I started using them. Since I also have a small desktop air filter that collect quite a lot of dust from the air, I am wondering if these air filters are working at all. UPDATE 02/13/2024: I have had these air purifiers running for a month. Considering the amount of dust generated from road dust on a main highway in the country, dust from surrounding farmer's fields, and feather dust from our 14 pet parrots, I don't believe these filters collect much. I have one on the first floor and one one the second floor. On the first floor, the air filter is in the living room that has direct access to the family room where my parrots are out every night for exercise and socializing. We generally get a lot of dust in the family room. Although the living room doesn't get seem to get as dusty and is easy to keep up with a Swiffer Duster, the family room still gets as dusty as ever. When I checked the filter in the living room after a month, there was a light layer of dust that could barely be seen. These filters are supposed to cover 1115 square feet, and our living room is about 300 square feet. Even though the family room is directly connected to the living room with a large arched doorway, I suppose it's possible this filter will cover only one room, and not necessarily the square footage advertised. If this is the case, smaller, less expensive air filters for each room might be more cost effective. UPDATE 04/23/24: We have now had these air filters for over 4 months. They do seem to collect some dust as we have one in the living room and I don't have to dust as often. Personally, I have not noticed any change in the air quality, but that could just be me. As mentioned previously, I have one upstairs near my bedroom door. This one I keep on the auto setting as it usually stays on low. I tried it on the high setting, and even with my bedroom door closed, I can still hear it. I am one that needs silence to sleep, so I keep this one on low. The one in the living room is kept on high in hopes of collecting some of the dust from the family room that is caused by pet birds taken out every evening. One concern I had was the cost of replacement filters. The "genuine" filters cost $75 for 2, but I found compatible filters for $33 on Amazon. In the over 4 months I have had these air filters, the "change filter" light has gone on only once on the unit in the living room. Since it had a coating of only fine dust on it, I vacuumed it to remove the dust. After re-installing this filter and resetting the "change filter" light, it has been working fine. I feel by vacuuming the filters, the life of the filters could be extended to well over 6 months and possibly even a year. This greatly reduces the cost of filter replacement for these air filters. UPDATE 04/12/26: I have had these air filters running 24/7 for about 2 1/2 years. They do help to reduce the dust in the air and reduce dusting requirements, but I don't think they cover 1,000 sq. ft. as advertised. Our living room is 218 sq. ft. It does help to reduce the dust in the air, and it's possible I have been expecting too much from the small air purifier. I am continuing to use it since I believe it helps to clean the air. I hope this review was helpful for you I will update this review if my opinion changes.

Bought a 2 pack. The units worked perfectly. Big noticeable difference in air quality. Very quiet. Replacement filters are super reasonable….however….one of the units started to develop an annoying sound with the fan motor. BUT…Here is the great news. I called the company directly and believe it or not both calls made were answered by a helpful human!! They said they had not gone A.I. yet, and I can't tell you how refreshing it was to have a live customer service experience. Best customer service I have ever seen. After verifying my purchase at Amazon, trying some suggested diy solutions that did not fix the issue, and a few personal emails back and forth with a super helpful rep…in less than a week I received an email with a tracking number for the replacement on the way! Awesome product and amazing customer support!!!

PuroAir 400 is a great product. I have had it for two months and I am completely satisfied with the quality. It is extremely quiet. I have quite a large room, 30' x 30' and 20' ceilings that open into a loft. I feel the dust has been reduced and the air smells cleaner. I have the ability to keeps it off the walls which helps with airflow. I keep the setting on automatic however it will change to high when cooking fish or something smoky. It seems to help remove the odor quickly. The sensor will automatically change should a situation arise... nice feature! I do not have the need for the sleep mode therefore I cannot comment on its effectiveness. I understand the filters are expensive however the health of my family is worth the cost.

Works great and you can tell a difference in air quality. Love the "auto" mode where you can leave it on 24x7 and the machine reacts accordingly when it needs to ramp up the air cleaning to get back to a green status light!

We are so please with this purifier. This is our first purchase of any type of purifier system. It has helped with the heavy pollen and our coming in and outs during the allergy season. We both have allergies this time of year and we are usually miserable. This purifier has helped immensely. It is quiet and effective. We are happy customers!
