I've used this product for several months now and have found it to be effective in eliminating some of the symptoms (irritability, sadness, and low energy) of my moderate depression. Prior to using SAM-e I tried numerous prescription anti-depressive medications and after a month or two the side effects forced me to stop using each and every medication. Thus far, I have experienced no side effects with the SAM-e. However, on two separate occasions I ran out of SAM-e and found that after a day or day and a half of not taking SAM-e the depressive symptoms returned full force. So I have decided to buy two or three bottles at a time rather than endure the return of the depression. When placing my first order for multiple bottles, I was surprised to find that no "discount" was given. I would highly recommend Lumina Health reconsider its pricing for multiple purchases of its product. I also think the packaging could be improved. When first using a new bottle, it is difficult to get just one drop at a time from the bottle. It's best if you just tip the bottle on its side so as to avoid getting too much product. Once the bottle is about half full, you have to squeeze hard to get the drops. I now store the bottle on its top (a bit tricky given the shape of the lid), but it allows for easier use.

new review I originally gave this a one star but I think I jumped the gun. Liquid supplements work much better for my body. I did question if it was working but I think now it does work as well if not better than taking a pill. I do wish they could design a better delivery system since squeezing the plastic bottle makes it hard to know how much is coming out as I hold it over my mouth. I am grateful there is a liquid form though. Old review: I have been taking Jarrow then switched to Nature Made (because of the mannitol in Jarrow thought Nature 's made may have something in it as well). I decided to try a liquid form since liquid forms tend to work so well for me. As I hold this stuff under my tongue, I thought I would use the time to write a review. I wouldn't mind the sour taste but I question the efficacy of the liquid form. I also ponder how hard I have to squeeze the bottle to get a drop out. I can't really count the drops as it takes multiple squeezes since the liquid is thick so I am unclear what dosage I end up with. Sam-e is tricky as it needs to get to the gut to work and water denigrates it. So I assume this thick liquid under the tongue somehow magically absorbs the sam-e without losing it's efficacy? It isn't working and I didn't think this through. I doubt it is effectiveness and encourage anyone to be skeptical when trying out. I am going back to Nature Made.

I have taken Cellfood Sam-e for years. It gives me energy and lifts my spirits. For me, it's far more effective than capsule forms of Sam-e. I had been out of it for a couple weeks, tried the capsule form again, with no luck. I can't buy the Cellfood brand locally. No wonder it is used as an antidepressant medication in Italy, and probably elsewhere. I was getting very anxious by the time I placed the order, wondering how long I'd have to wait. I placed the order at about 10:00 PM--and I couldn't believe it when it arrived at noon the very next day ! I was thrilled. And I'm feeling much better now! Thank you so much !

I tried sam e before and had great results so I got this for my husband to try, it didn't do anything for him. After closer inspection I realized it has 72 mg for 20 drops, and you are supposed to take 20 a day. The tablets I took before are 400 mgs. For depression you're supposed to take a dose of 400-800 mgs. What a waste of money and of course the return window is closed

Based on the reviews I thought I’d give it a try. I am a former Lyme disease patient and am an avid parasite detoxed. I’m well aware of how most mood disorders today are simply a result of having too many bad parasites mixed with WIFI and toxins=depression, anxiety, etc. Kill the parasites, increase your serotonin levels = feel happier. ( YouTube search Dr Dietrich Klinghardt to learn more..) I’m checking for parasites in p***for 4 years now and am well aware of what’s affecting their kill off. I was hoping this may increase my energy levels and increase my mood. I’m not seeing yet a huge difference in mood but I AM seeing huge amounts of liver parasites expelled daily now, and this is the most difficult of the parasites to get rid of due to how far up the digestive tract they are, how they clog up your bile cuts which affects your metabolism or detoxification pathways, and the Liver represents anger in Chinese medicine and these parasites are usually expelled more when I’m angry hence I know how even our emotions affects our detox abilities. ( liver parasites are thought to come from consuming pork products like pepperoni, sausage, cured meats etc) Im seeing these suckers leave my body daily more now and I’m having even more frequent bowel movements so in this, I believe this product is valuable. It’s not drops like advertised but more like squeezing glue so gaging an accurate serving is a bit hard, it’s a very small bottle for $36 so imagine it’s gone within a month if used daily. $36 a month can be a lot to folks looking to improve mood when a lot of natural options are out there. But if you’re suffering from a chronic illness, you may detox faster with this. I have this company’s silica mineral drops and I love that stuff. This I’m still waiting longer to get a total picture as I’ve been on it a week so far. Maybe I’m still ckeaning up so to speak.......
