Grow Long Hair Growth Scrub Treatment - Vegan & Cruelty Free Grow Scrub Scalp Exfoliator with Caffeine-Gro Complex

I want to start by saying I’m giving this five stars based on first impression of ease of use, scent, consistency, and immediate results - not based on long term results. I will update my review after a few more uses. That being said, this was my first scalp scrub- purchased based on novice research. I have a lot of color treated , dry hair that won’t seem to grow past my shoulders and recently decided to switch up my routine. A scalp scrub was suggested and I was intrigued by this one as it had a good rating, was safe for color and was 1/3 the price of some others. It arrived quickly( 3 days), comes in a tub that is easy to open. And I didn’t have to bring tools to the shower to open it. The consistency was that of a good quality salt scrub, pretty thick and at first I thought I might use the whole tub in one use. The scent is interesting , but not unpleasant… it’s like a clean- coffee- with a hint of sea salt smell.. I had to remind myself that was the energizing caffeine hard at work! I would suggest getting your hair very wet and beginning with the nape of your neck, then working your way to the front.. I actually used it twice and tried two techniques and I think the back to front method uses less product and was a more effective method of scrubbing. I loved that once the scrub was on my scalp and I began the massage it gave a nice lather- not too rich, but enough to feel like it was cleansing my hair. It rinsed completely and after conditioning and blow drying , my scalp and hair did feel refreshed and energized. For the price and convenience I was really happy with this scrub. Time will tell if it actually helps my hair growth journey, but for now I’ll keep it in my weekly routine.

I can’t say for sure if this Umberto Giannini Grow Long Scrub actually helps with hair growth, but what I can say is that it leaves my scalp feeling cleaner than anything I’ve ever used. Seriously—it’s like a full reset for your head. I only use it once a week, and a little goes a long way, so the jar lasts quite a while. It smells nice, feels refreshing, and doesn’t irritate my skin. Even if the hair growth claims are a bonus, I’d buy it again just for how well it exfoliates. Totally worth it.

Definitely scrub consistency but does lather up very well leaves hair feeling ultra clean .pleasant smell. Will become a part of my haircare routine

I have really thick hair, and I had a really hard time getting this product to touch my scalp at all - no matter what I tried it's like it all stuck to my hair before I could get it to where I was supposed to be using it. It essentially just became a really scratchy shampoo, which as I'm sure you can guess, was not great for my hair. I ended up with a lot more hair fall than normal after using this, and my scalp didn't feel any cleaner. It also felt like it didn't wash out easily, so I had to use my normal shampoo afterwards just to feel like I got it all out. I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 because this could just be user error, but to be honest I really don't want to risk trying again. Maybe I'll use the rest as a body scrub or something, I dunno - it does smell fantastic.

I have a really sensitive oily scalp and I really struggle with dandruff and this is the only product that really works for me! I’ve been using it for 2 years now, and I am only just starting my second bottle. You really only need one little finger dollop of this for your whole head, and it lathers up more than any shampoo I’ve ever used. Needless to say, this stuff will last you. I’ve had mixed feedback on the smell, some people like it and some people hate it. Personally, I think there are better smells out there but it’s nothing aversive by any means in my opinion, especially for how well it works. I’d compare the smell to tootsie rolls. This shampoo cleanses my hair so well, and it’s the only one that actually gets rid of my dandruff and lets me go more than 48 hours without looking like an oily mess. Combine it with one of those silicone shampoo brushes, and I promise you’ll be golden!

This. Product. Is. Amazing. Even before I finish rinsing it all out, my hair feels like silk. You're supposed to use it only about 1x/week and I look forward to it each time. It smells amazing but not chemical-y or overpowering. I have extreme allergies to product smells (I can't walk down the laundry/cleaning aisles in most grocvery stores without an allergy attack and subsequent horrible migraine). This one smells fresh--not fresh "scent"--but actual "real" ingredients. Almost like the smell of fresh, brewed coffee--but again, not strong at all. Try it--my hair has never been better and I keep getting so many compliments on it--now more than ever. For reference, too, I have super long hair down to about the curve of my low back and this (with their shampoo, conditioner & a couple hair oils I also use) help. This though is the piece de la resistance or however you spell that. I only wish they made bigger jars and handy travel ones!

A lot of women in their 40’s struggle with hair loss. One of the things I’ve learned is that the journey really starts with the scalp-this product has pink Himalayan salt, coffee goodness that’ll wake up the follicles. There is a learning curve with it because it’s a little goopy. A little goes a long way! You’re gonna see the little tub this comes in and think it’ll be gone in month-nay. I only use it once a week like the directions advise and it’s lasted a few months. Makes your scalp feel amazing-I use their shampoo/conditioner combo as well. Added bonus: it smells lightly of coffee. Not too strong for those sensitive to scents. For the price, you cannot go wrong folks. Best of luck!

This is such a lovely product, you apply to your dry hair and massage it in. I'm concerned about a thinning hair lined at the front section of my head. It feels amazing applying it and the smell might not be for everyone. I felt it smells like coco butter, not my favourite but acceptable. When you have given yourself a good massage which increases circulation in your scalp, you just add water and use as your 1st hair wash. Then proceed with your 2nd wash and finish with conditioner or hair mask. Im on my 2nd tub now. I haven't noticed any improvement in hair growth, but wouldn't expect to. I just love the process and the value is good, I got about 5/ 6 treatments from 1 pot. Lovely for giving yourself some self care. Highly recommend it.
