B. coagulans and b. subtilis are known for their usefulness against c. difficile infection. I had a mild infection for months that I controlled through fiber supplements for a while with moderate success. Then I found out about b. subtilis by complete accident. Strains of b. subtilis are often used in animals suffering from c. difficile. Rather than go back to antibiotics, which caused the problem in the first place, I started taking this probiotic + s. boulardii with with every meal. The symptoms were completely negated when I remembered to take this, but I could definitely tell the difference when I skipped a dose. Eventually I started to be consistent with my "treatment" as it was preventing a lot of unpleasantness. Somehow, miraculously, after a few months of taking this about twice daily, the symptoms that led me down this route resolved without me needing to take this probiotic daily. I don't know if I squashed the infection or my gut found a new balance, but the symptoms are gone completely now. This is a case study for permanently relieving c. diff symptoms using probiotics alone.

Probably the only probiotic that my body agrees with. After receiving the recommendation from my PC doc, I reluctantly purchased it with my history of GI distress and pain. After one week of use, it felt like a lot of my usual pain and discomfort from fermented foods started to diminish. This has been my recommendation for anybody who has issues with probiotics.

This probiotic seems to be good quality as there is a clear difference in stool when on it vs off it, so it seems to be potent and delivered well. However, if you have IBS-C/Candida/biofilm in the stool (looks like mucus) with a more hardened stool this probiotic probably isn't for you, as it makes the stool more constipated/hard. So for those with IBS-D or even IBS-M this might be a great choice to add into your regimen, but for those with IBS-C it might not be the best choice.

Violent storm in my gut! I wondered if I had eaten something going bad but, after a day of tracking, I realized that this probiotic was the cause of the intestinal rumbling, gas, bloating, and pain that I endured for three days and the milder discomfort that I experienced for the two previous ones after I started taking the Klaire Labs Biospora. Add to that, three days after I took my final pill, it's still rumbling and painful - although much less so than before. I'm not clear what the prerequisites are for having a bad experience with it rather than a good one because I did note that most people seem not to have had a similar experience to mine but, after the fact, I found that a certain shopping review service has it graded with an "F", emphasizing that most of the consumer reviews for the product are unreliable. Upon reaching out to Klaire Labs I discovered that Timelessbella, the Amazon seller that shipped me the product, isn't an authorized Klaire seller, so Klaire couldn't help me with a refund. I contacted Amazon and they (finally) sent a reimbursement request to the seller who responded with: "This item needs more than 30 days to see a result and I am sorry but pills are not returnable". Summary: Don't buy this product unless you're sure you won't have a bad reaction to the ingredients. A totally negative experience.
