My Dad's TV didn't come with it from Samsung, this works great!
Great for adding AV devices to your TV. My Dad still likes having his VCR connected to his TV and when he got a new TV, it didn't come with this adapter. I picked this one up, connected it, and it worked great!

Worked Flawlessly!!
Finally! After 3 different cables i tried, THIS IS THE ONE! Worked flawlessly like suppoused to. I have a Samsung Smart TV 4K (UHD) model UN60 and had some trouble looking for adapters.. i tried a few from here that were suppoused to work.. but they did not work at all.. i even went to best buy. But they did not have it in stock.. or habe any of these anymore.. because the Factory is supposed to ship it with the tv. Well that was not my case so i had to look for one. I use it for retro gaming consoles (n64 - ps1). I habe not tried anything else, but im pretty sure it will work, plus the quality is real nice. Thick cables, robus commectors. Great buy.

Works great on Samsung 4K tv
My Samsung 55" 4K tv came with both connector cables for both component and composite video/audio input that have been used for an older Xbox 360 for years without any issues. Recently got bigger tv so moved the 55" to our family room. I have a couple of older components, S-VHS VCR and a Pioneer Laser Disc player, and wanted to hook them back up. I tried 2 different Composite/Audio to HDMI convertors but the tv just would not recognize any signals. So, I ended up finding this cable. It is only composite video but that's what I needed and not having to switch back and forth with Xbox cable. Cable came quickly and got everything set up correctly. Turned on tv, selected the A/V Input, turned on the S-VHS player then the laserdisc which runs through the S-VHS player. The video signal on the tv blipped in/out, squiggly lines came and went, then after a minute, or so, everything was working perfectly. I also decided to buy another one because you just don't know how long they may be available in the future. I am 100% satisfied and can highly recommend this cable.

Just What I Needed
I have an older Sony DVD player that didn't have an HDMI connection but did have s-video and component. As my 65" Samsung 4k didn't have an s-video I was forced to use the component connection but the TV doesn't have the traditional RBG input. It has a RB jack and a GY and RW jack. So to connect a component DVD player to this TV you need 2 input cables. The TV only came with the RB connector so I got this connector and it works great.
