Bentgo Sauce Container (2 Pack) - Two 1.35oz Leak-Resistant Dippers Built to Fit in Either Compartment of Your Lunch Box

I bought these after falling in love with my Bentgo lunch box. They match and do exactly what they're supposed to. They're not leak-proof, but they are leak resistant. They'll contain any sauce the same consistency as ketchup or mustard (or thicker) without problems, but be careful to keep your containers upright when throwing something more watery like soy sauce in there. These fit just fine in the deeper bottom tier of my Bentgo lunch box. If I have the lid on the sauce containers and want to stack the lunch box using the silverware insert, they have to sit in the corners of the bottom tier. Without the silverware insert, they can be moved around anywhere when using just the bottom tier of the lunch box. They're much smaller than I thought they'd be, but it's my bad for not checking their dimensions online. To be fair, they're actually pretty adorable.

I recently bought the UMAMI Bento Box and needed another sauce cup. This looked very promising, however it was not compatible with the UMAMI Bento box. I do not microwave sauce cups so I do not know how it deals with heat/long use. It has an almost suction cup sound when you open it, similar to the UMAMI cup (which has not leaked in the month I have used it). It is smaller but seems to hold about the same amount of sauce, but in a smaller container, very nice! The cup is a hair too tall in the UMAMI bento box. It could fit sans the lid, but I chose not to take that risk. It is a nice cup to hold a small amount of sauce, but do not expect to fit a ton of in there. Overall, it is easy to clean and works nicely. I like the variety of colors but wish they were less bright and kid-ish.

I pack three lunches per day (a kindergartner, a first grader, and a preschooler who just eats it at home but really wants a school lunch!). I am somewhat of a bento "collector" or as my husband would say, I'm slightly obsessed with making fun, trashless lunches! I have had the bentgo in three colors for a little over a month now, and have been very happy with their versatility and ease of use for a young child. I send in cold lunches, so I cannot say anything about heating food up. I recently got the dippers in the three matching colors. I will say, I am surprised at just how much I love them! First of all, I don't think that you can get a good idea of the size from the photo on amazon.com. They are the absolute cutest little containers around! They are the perfect size for dressings, peanut butter, trail mix, nuts, etc. I put water in them and turned them upside down and side ways expecting to see leaks.... None! I even left them like that for hours, still no leaks! That means I can put dressings like Italian and it won't leak all over! The fact that they do not leak, AND my kids can open and close them without a teacher's help is perfect! And they are super cute too! I know I will get a lot of use with these dippers for both the kids and for myself! They are even the perfect size to hold Tylenol or Advil in my purse. When my sister came over and saw six of them on the counter, she noted how cute they were and asked if she could take one to use for her salad dressing for her lunches... She couldn't ever think I would need SIX! ...I was a good sister and emailed her the amazon link to get her own! Hee hee! I would definitely say the price for two of these is reasonable seeing how much I will use them over the years in our lunches. I look forward to trying the bentgo cups next! I would rate these dippers as a five on a scale of 1-5!

The size is small, but it's PERFECT for pourable sauces. I filled up both with some taco sauce and packed it in with the bottom BentGo container and the lids held tight. I'm curious to see how well it works with things like worcestershire or soy sauce. The lids have a super-snug fit (no silicone gasket) and they aren't too hard to get off or on. These are too small to put snacks in, but even if you needed to keep salt, pepper or any other spices in your bag and add it to foods a pinch at a time, this would be a smart purchase!

The first set I got worked great. Never a leak. New sets leak. Probably won't leak a thick sauce, but a vinaigrette dressing leaks. I'm going to wash them in the dishwasher to see if that'll shrink the lid just enough to get a secure fit. Will update if that works. The size is perfect though. It holds just over 1 fluid ounce or 2 tbsp. I use one for salad dressing and one for sliced almonds. I like using the container for the almonds because they stay dry and don't go soft between making my lunch and eating it.

I bought two Bentgo's for my girlfriend and I. Today marks our third day using them, and I find it to be my solution for going plastic bag-less and environmentally clean. I love the fact that the Bentgo comes with a knife, fork and spoon. What is really awesome is that this product is microwavable. Within these three days, On day one I packed my Bentgo with a garden fresh Cesar salad with a side of chips and cheese-its. On the second day I packed macaroni and cheese with chips and wheat-thins, and on the third-day I packed a turkey and cheese sandwich with cheese-its and lays oven baked chips. The fork and spoon and knife are made very well, which I absolutely love along with the tub ware. I was indecisive on the green and grey Bentgo they both looked amazing, but I went with the blue Bentgo and the purple Bentgo for my girlfriend. We also bought grey lunch bags from Bentgo and they feel and look amazing. The Bentgo fits perfectly in the lunch bag along with a medium sized gatorade with extra small snacks such as a cheese stick and a stick of yogurt. Along with the lunch bags we decided to get the sauce containers for any sauces we would want to add to our meal. I highly recommend purchasing the whole set!
