These take a while to install but are worth the security of artwork not easily taken from our gallery.

I wanted to mount a series of frames throughout the house, some of which were in places where they could cause damage if they fell, so I needed more secure mounting hardware. I stumbled upon this kit and it is exactly what I needed. The kit includes almost everything you need (screws, plates anchors and t bar tool). The instructions are very easy to follow. The toughest part is screwing in the bottom T-screw as your placement needs to be fairly accurate, or the bottom will not connect to the wall correctly. To solve this problem, I bought the Accu Mount T-Screw Companion tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FF6R4NZ). It hooks right into the metal plate you attach to the bottom of the frame and leaves a dot on the wall so you know exactly where to drill the T-screw hole. Breezed through the installation with it. Without this tool, this would have been a very frustrating and long process. They should include something similar with the kit. All in all, I'm very happy and 100% recommend, IF you buy the companion tool.

In theory this is a good system, in reality, nothing fits. The key is too large to catch the security screw, the mounting plates are too narrow for the hanging brackets. NOTHING fits! DO NOT BUY!

I'm so happy I bought these for my furnished rental. I took a lot of time mounting my artwork (even though the art is inexpensive). I don't want a guest to steal my art. It would be a hassle to replace my art. The guy who hung my art said he really likes this anti theft hooks. He said they were easy to use but I have to make sure I don't lose the key. These also work great to keep your pictures from moving on the walls.

Excellent product for those wishing to lock their paintings and artwrork to the wall (as we did for our Condominium Common Property Areas). Took us a few times to get things right (measuring just didn't work) - but used an old lipstick, to mark the spot where the lock and painting were supposed to connect - and drilled from that. TG for creativity! Thank you so much for offering this great product.
