Solid and not look cheap and flimsy, but customer service of hansgrohe is a big problem not possible to reach

What a beautiful product! The finish quality is excellent, it really gleams! Function wise the holder bar rotates but has enough resistance (when new at least) to stay in position. This allow you to stand the TP roll off the wall, or push it back to the wall if you want some resistance. While it is a bit pricey, the durability, functionality and appearance all deliver perfectly. This pairs very well with our other chrome bathroom fixtures from Grohe, Hansgrohe & Kraus. I especially feel like these match the Krause squared towel hooks: https://amzn.to/4suB70l you can see those in one of my pictures. Highly recommended product and brand!

It is a very nicely done piece, great looking design that compliments the bathroom. The only issue I have is that the wall bracket has 2 screws positioned horizontally, which makes it less sturdily attached vs. if they were positioned vertically. There is enough space under the attaching piece, but for the reason, I guess, that it was designed in Europe where they have masonry walls, they decided that horizontal screw positioning is good enough. If you attached it to the drywall, it makes it less stable and more prone for being pulled out accidentally. Try to attach it to the stud or use heavy duty sheetrock anchors that go wide behind the sheetrock. Don't use included anchors as they are designed for masonry wall only and will pull out from sheetrock in no time.

The build quality and texture are impressive. feels solid and well-made. Definitely worth the price.
