I got this to use while vaping in the car since it creates a buildup on the windshield pretty quickly and starts to make seeing clearly difficult, especially at night. It's easy to exhale through and it filters it out completely (I was curious and wiped the inside of my windshield to see if it really was making a difference and there wasn't any residue), and the jr is easier to hold and use while I'm driving, I can keep my eyes on the road and still have a free hand. My husband has the regular size and that's too awkward for me to use when I'm driving. I keep it uncapped in the center console since I use it for vaping, I figure letting it air out and not get a bunch of humidity trapped probably is better for it. Update: Still 5 stars but a couple tips for making it last longer. Moisture is what pretty much kills these and vaping exhales vaporized water. Even if you're smoking, exhaling into it carries droplets every time you exhale will build moisture up. I'm tinker with things way too much plus my nerd likes out. I realized that certain things like silica packets are commonly used bas a desiccant to absorb moisture. I found one and tried it out (they're the packets that say do not eat lol). Hitting it with the mouth piece down is a good quick fix. Use a folded washcloth or towel on a countertop and hit it a few times. Wipe it out and it should help for a bit. You can buy silica desiccant packets that are rechargeable and change color when they're saturated for $8 or if you don't wanna do that, just give it some good whacks every few times after using it and wipe out. For the silica packets, pop the packet in the mouth piece and put the cap on both ends (if you don't use the caps, the silica will absorb humidity from the air and get to its max saturation point from that which makes them less effective). After a few hours, take it out and it should be a lot better. If you vape, I seriously suggest this. If you're using it for smoke just giving it a good whack every few uses is probably good if you wanna leave it at that. Finally, unless you want to destroy it, the microwave tip mentioned in another review – just DON'T. I tried it and worked my way up on the lowest power levels up in 5 second increments to power level 3 over 4 hours to avoid overheating. Nothing until a loud a pop and it was wrecked.

I like the smoke buddy jr work really well keeping the smoke oder getting everywhere only last a couple of weeks when using a one hitter but I will buy again great price

. It works great was pleasantly surprised BUT it only last 4/5 days and that’s me smoking 5 cigs a day. Would be an expensive gadget to use all the time.
