This plate works great for my hands-on style raw vegan salad platters that I have every night for dinner. I found a different oval plate at my mother in laws I liked that was 14"x10.75" and decided I wanted my own. While it's not exactly the same it does the job well and makes it easy to eat with plenty of room for all my veggies and greens, unlike my previous standard "large" circle dinner plates I had at home where I usually had to have the greens on a seperate plate. The only thing I wish was different was that I wish the side edges were more flat and less curved still some but not as much. I usually place my garlic near the edge while taking small nibbles and it keeps falling further back onto the plate and makes it a little awkward for my hands to reach in near the edges, but I knew this would be a thing when buying because of the shape in the picture. It was still the best option out of all the ones I saw on amazon. The curved edge can be a bonus for those having saucy dishes or dishes with a bit of broth, it keeps the liquid in well. My leftover tomato juice from the tomatoes can't spill as easily which is good in that case. But I would prefer less curved lip since I usually just use this for salad platters. It would also be good for restaurants as it would be easier to not accidentally spill food when transporting to a table. Overall very happy with this purchase and considering getting another set. Would recommend.

Strong ceramic perfect for serving any delicious dish you prefer, has the perfect sizing. Easy to clean and the white color is always classic. It’s a bit heavy but I like that makes it more durable and less likely to break
