Mighty Max Battery YTZ10S GEL -12 Volt 8.6 AH, GEL Type, 190 CCA, Rechargeable Maintenance Free SLA AGM Motorcycle Battery

I gauge the performance of batteries by how many times it will endure my abuse. My batteries die because I sometimes don't ride my bikes for weeks or months. The worst thing you can do is completely discharge them. Most batteries will only endure this 4 or 5 times before I notice a sharp drop in cranking amps or charge capacity. (They're weak to crank the starter or they won't crank very long.) This battery endures my abuse as well as a YUASA that costs 3x the price or a Lithium battery that costs 4x the price.

**9-27-2024 UPDATE: I was able to get a little over 5 years on this battery before it quit. I needed a battery for my 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 after the auto parts store battery I bought a year ago quit holding a charge for more than 48 hrs. This battery was less than half the price, has more CCA, and appears to be very well made. Unfortunately, the first Mighty Max battery I received was damaged in shipping despite being very well packaged. I contacted Mighty Max through Amazon and they sent a replacement out right away. The battery was easy to install and comes with high quality posts, screws and nuts, unlike some I have seen. I like to buy things like batteries locally, but the only auto parts store that carries the YTZ10S sold me one that only lasted a year and costs twice as much with a 3 month warranty. This one has a one year warranty and I am very happy with the customer service they provide and I hope their battery is just as good.

Absolute piece of junk. Bought 2 just to make sure they suck… and they do. Put it in my sport bike and it works fine for a little bit, then gasses out badly. Dangerous product, do not buy.

I bought it in 2023, almost never maintained or trickled charged it during winter, just sitting in my CB1000. Rarely ride my bike, it always kept its charge for the entire 3 years and survived winters. For 30+ bucks it has even better performance than the factory one which cost more than tripled. GOOD BUY

Works well as a mower battery replacement

Fast shipping. This is a gel battery so I’m a bit concerned that I don’t see gel or liquid above cell plates. I’ve tried contacting seller but haven’t had any luck getting through to them, will keep trying. Charged up battery and installed in go kart and it cranks over and runs fine. Will update review if battery craps out or if I do get in touch with seller about gel level.

I purchased the battery in April 2025 for my boat. When I received the battery it registered over 12 volts. I put the battery on my boat in mid May. It still registered over 12 volts. In mid June I went to check the battery and it had dropped to 5.4 volts. Not only did the voltage drop where it couldn't operate the gps, it will not take a charge. So it's junk! I've contacted the manufacturer 2 or 3 times to no avail. They are not even responding to me. I would not recommend anyone purchase this battery if they do not have a penchant to waste clse to $30.

good battery no problems UPDATE lasted 3 Years

Battery looks good and seems strong. Started good fresh off the bat. Afterwards 3 months battery started to weaken. Now the battery won’t hold a charge or start the bike. Called them and they stood by their warranty and sent me a new battery.

This battery has the same dimensions as the YUASA YTX10S except for the cut out on top to allow for a strap hold down. The rubber strap guide piece that fits into the YUASA YTX10S battery does not fit into this battery. This difference will probably lead to a premature strap failure. Not as important for my application which was for a Honda generator. This may be important to consider if the battery is going to be used on a motorcycle or any other type of motor vehicle.
