Works Great With the Gutter Sense Attachment
It would be difficult to write a review about an extension pole that would crack open the Earth, tear apart the sky, and end world hunger due to its shear awesomeness. I mean, it's a pole that extends. So I won't shoot for razzle-dazzle. I'll just say why I like it and what I use it for, and let it be that. Sorry, I know that's disappointing. I use this extension pole with the unique and surprisingly effective gadget called Gutter Sense Gutter Cleaning Tool - Improvements . My parents' home is two stories and I don't like having to shimmy up top to clean the leaves out with a leaf blower. I ESPECIALLY don't like the thought of my parents attempting this feat, so I bought the Gutter Sense and this pole to mount it on. The pole is fairly lightweight, yet sturdy. Even when fully extended it holds up with the usage of the gutter cleaner. It does bend a bit at the slimmer portion when I'm trying to haul out a clump of leaves and I get the device caught on a gutter support, but that's to be expected. The locking collar for the extension is a nice, heavy plastic that is a very effective anchor - it really does tighten things down securely. The plastic threading on top of the pole for attachments pairs with said attachments well - there is no cross-threading or poorly defined areas on the threading that would lend itself to damaging the pole or accessories. I really like that the attachment I'm using secures very well to the pole - no coming loose when I bump it on something, etc. It tightens down and stays that way. My final reason for liking it: it's made in the U.S.A. Given how many products are being made overseas for less money and (usually poorer quality), it is nice to see this device, as simple as it is, made here. Cheers!

Good enough, but I wonder if I could have done better.
I bought this to use with the ProPole - Painters Pole Addapter so I would have a way to get my camera up high. With newer cameras with WiFi connections, you can put your camera on end, right a smartphone mount on the other and you can control the camera remotely. Build quality of the Mr. Long Arm 3208 is excellent. The bottom half is plastic and the extension tube is light metal. There's a friction locking mechanism on the end of the plastic bottom and it tightens well and holds the upper tube firmly. You can extend the upper tube out to eight feet and without a load on the end, it remains straight. You can force the tube to bend by pushing it against a wall or other solid surface. I wouldn't trust this with a Nikon or Canon DSLR on the end, but with lightweight cameras on the end, the Mr. Long Arm remains straight and easy to handle. What I am personally not sure of is whether eight feet is long enough for my photo and video needs. Once you start playing with a camera on the end of this and see how it allows you to add unique perspective to your shots, you want more length. But for what it is, Mr. Long Arm 3208 Pro-Pole does the job well. Jerry

Strong, sturdy and light.
This extendable pole was exactly what I needed to safely and efficiently clean my outside windows on our 2-story house. There is some flex when it is at 3/4 to full length, but overall it is very sturdy. It stays at the length you set, until you want to collapse it. Very pleased with the performance, especially when teamed with a soft brush and water, dish detergent and white vinegar solution to make grimy glass sparkle.

Very handy item to give you that extra reach but a little unstable at full extension.
Very good item depending on what you plan to use it for. If your goal is light dusting or similar uses this items will be perfect. The pole is very sturdy at 6 feet and it perfect for just about anything that requires that extra reach. I have mainly used it for as a cleaning tool for the outside of my house and it works very well for this. I have a couple of different sponge type heads I use on this and they are work great at the shorter lengths. It is when you extend this out past 9' or so that it starts to get wobbly. When under 9' the "pole inside a pole" give this plenty of stability and strength. However when the internal pole extends to its furthest lengths the whole unit starts to flex with only the slightest pressure. For cleaning purposes it is difficult to apply any significant scrubbing pressure when the pole is at or near full extension. For the price this is a very handy item that has 101 uses around a multistory home. Just be aware of its limitations at full extension.

Good, Sturdy Pole
While the pole itself is a sturdy, useful pole, it works better with the Mr. Longarm angle adaptor ($7.70 on Amazon), just because of the nature of the pole and where it is you want to brush. Standing on the ground, and trying to brush off gutter covers over your head, for example, the angle adaptor would allow you to do that much easier and get full use of the brush. Likewise using the car wash brush attachment, the angle adaptor would allow you to angle the brush the way you want it, and get better performance on the top of the vehicle. You will likely like this pole even better if you get the angle adaptor to use with it.

So Many Uses, You will Love this Extension Pole
I purchased this extension pole together with a Stauber Best Bulb Changer Kit. PROS: This is quality all the way. Easy to use. Easy to extend. Sturdy materials and great workmanship on this product. Many uses (change light bulbs on 12 foot ceiling, wash windows, clean the soffits on outside of house, good for paint rollers). The top is a universal size and will fit most attachments. CONS: None. I had a few other cheap extension poles which were cheaply made by big name brand companies. They are now in the recycle bin. This extension pole will last a lifetime. I'm go glad I purchased it and highly recommend.

When fully expanded its kinda flimsy, but it's great as long as you're not 12 feet out.
