Fresh & tasty
I had been buying these at a large local grocery in the Asian foods section, same brand. They don’t keep a lot of the packages on the shelf so I looked on line & found them here. I got the box of 24 bags as they were the cheapest ( also about half of what the store wants for one package). They came double boxed ( ie cardboard mfg box inside another cardboard box as per ‘hide what’s inside’. The shelf life on the packages is about a year they are vacuum sealed in the bags. Fresh & tasty. I want them lightly & warm them 20 seconds in the microwave. Any longer ( dry oven heat) I think they would be too hard. Very good & healthy snack. One bag says 2 servings, they are very filling.

Delicious and natural! Whole family enjoys these
Galil Organic Roasted Chestnuts are so natural and pure tasting. No chemical scent from packaging. No salt or sugar added. I really enjoyed the first bag years ago. And my whole family does, too (and we all like different types of food!). I've purchased these and gifted them to many others who have said they also really like. They're not cheap, but they're not overpriced - we buy them when they go on sale and when the holidays come around. Please keep producing these. The bags are delightful and cheery, illustrating just what they look like.

I always buy this at Costco, but they only sell in Fall. This is the next best price for this yummy chestnuts!

A bit suggy/sweet
It's a bit too sweet and too soft. Some of them are a bit crunchy but most of them could be too soft. It is also a little bit too wet. If all these were sorted it would have 5 star from me.

I thought it a good idea to have roasted chestnuts on the Brussel sprouts this year as it is a northern hemisphere tradition. The product was good but I did find them a little softer than I thought they would be. Very nice tasting, anyway.

Las castañas viene hervidas no tostadas, chiclosas y nada apetecibles. Buscábamos castañas tostadas crujientes y nada que ver.
