Seit ich einen Kaminofen habe muss dieser natürlich auch gefüttert werden und wenn man günstig an geschlagenes Holz kommt das nur noch auf Länge gesägt werden muss, noch besser. Zu diesem Zweck habe ich mir diese Schnittschutzhose oder besser gesagt Schnittschutzschürze, denn so würde ich sie bezeichnen, besorgt. Sie wird mittels rückseitiger nachspannbarer Clips am Bauch und den Beinen befestigt und umschließt diese auch sicher zu ca.2/3. Somit kann relativ gefahrfrei das Ofenfutter zubereitet werden. Und nach vollbrachter Arbeit kann der Überzug ganz unkompliziert und schnell entfernt werden und man hat auch nicht die ganzen Späne an den Beinen kleben. Absolut perfekt und sicher. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

I love these. They're so easy to put on and once all the straps are adjusted, which literally takes less than a minute they fit perfectly every time. The protection is great. I've had countless large debris stopped by them, without even feeling it. Being chaps you do need to wear long pants underneath, but old chinos or a tracksuit are fine. Also make sure you have heavy boots, the kind of work that needs chainsaw chaps needs heavy boots. For reference I use mine with a huge 55cc brush cutter that sends stuff flying at a very high velocity, as well as a mid range chainsaw cutting through logs up to about a foot in diameter. The chaps work great.

Very good protection from flying wood when using a chainsaw. The Chaps are designed for a 6 footer, and not for a 5ft 6 like me. I did use them, although I had to keep pulling them up... They make you feel very comfortable(safety wise) when you use the chainsaw, I reckon they would prevent a serious injury if the blade made contact, so they would do the job. The clips are easy to tighten and fairly easy to put on, although you need to be fairly flexible because they do up behind the leg (of course) and reaching them is not simple. I would recommend these to a friend.
