I was ready to call an ENT because nothing I had tried to unblock my ears helped. I had severely compacted ear wax in both ears and had been applying peroxide drops for a couple days which made my ears feel even fuller, but didn't seem to help much. (Granted, instructions say that it might take 4 to 5 days for the drops to break down the wax but it was just driving me crazy). I even bought one of those ear wax remover tools with a little camera at the tip. The camera showed me the problem but I could not figure out how to use the tool to scoop out that wax. After a while my ear canal got too sore from trying to reposition the thing which is a bit challenging to do because everything seems to be mirrored in the camera. My SIL told me about the elephant ear wash and since I was able to get it the very same day I thought I'd give it a try before trying to make an ENT appointment. Lo and behold, it worked!! At first I wasn't so sure because I only saw water come out, then little specks of something, and when I saw the big globs I knew it did the trick. Double-checkeded with my little camera thingy and indeed I could see my eardrum again. Did the other side as well and now I can't believe just how good it feels. No more pressure or muffled hearing. Total game changer. That said, I do believe it had helped that I had those peroxide drops in as they probably had started to soften the clumps. And while I wasn't able to use the camera scoop get myself unblocked, it was kind of cool to be able to check on my progress. On the second ear I actually was able to see that there was still more to be rinsed out. Anyways, needless to say I highly recommend this!

I'm not sure where all these great reviews are coming from. I got this kit to help my father with his ears. He gets alot of wax from his hearing aids. The bottle didn't work at all. Took it all apart. Put it all back together again. Would not spray. I had to go grab another spray bottle. Once we got it working the very short nozzles on this thing might be 'safer' to use... but completely useless as they were too short and too fat to fit into her ear canal.Maybe if you have super short and super wide canals it would work.. but then you probably don't have to worry about ear wax being a problem as they would clean normally. Do not recommend.Don't waste your money.

I bought this thinking it was similar to a tool used by a quick care to clean my ears. The bottle doesn’t provide much pressure to clean your ears out. However the hydrogen peroxide and water mix is actually useful and what I remember the quick care using. Prior to my purchase, I used ear wax removal drops for about a week but with no results. It wasn’t until I bought this and seeing the bottle fail me, I left the drops in my ear for longer than 5 minutes(around 10mins). I then used the red syringe and applied the pressure I wanted. EVERYTHING came out. In summary, just get ear wax removal drops with a big enough rubber syringe and leave the drops in your ear for about 10 minutes. Do this for about 4-7 days if your ears are super clogged.
