iTouchless 16 Gallon Touchless Sensor Trash Can/Recycle Bin with Wheels, 60 Liter Stainless Steel Dual-Compartment (2 x 8 Gallon) Kitchen Recycling and Garbage Trashcan

Had to search carefully to place a bin with this size in my kitchen, matched the specs, size and also, I like how durable are the battery life (which requires 3 DD batteries FYI). It also has the feature to connect it directly to the power outlet which is great in case you won't like to use batteries.

Soft closing broke after 5 months

The foot peddle broke after 10 months of use. Prior to that we were happy.

Got a great price on used can, full price is expensive but it's a good can and loved the deal I got,

Love it so far but I did exchange this one for the one with wheels. I like having the wheels cuz it’s easier for me to roll out the can to change the bag. I had a spill in the can and it was easy to transport to shower to rinse out.

Good size for my recycled items. I am looking for a similar brand of bin of this size 80L) but with a lid - for trash

Get this! I was looking for a hands free trash can that was stainless steel so it matches my kitchen. I tdidn't want a huge one, because I didn't want it to take up a lot of space. I found this one and my brother highly recommended it. It holds a good amount of trash, I just put the white plastic kitchen garbage bag into it. It has a plastic ring that holds it in place, which makes it easy to remove and replace the bag. It does take 4 D cell batteries ( so order them at the same time!), It functions well, and it runs pretty quietly, so the lid opening and closing doesn't wake my hubby when he falls asleep to the tv lol, One of the nice things is that it has an odor control filter in it, so it helps to stop the stank, in the summer heat, things go bad quickly! I think it's a really good value for the money and I am thrilled I got this.

This can is great. I love the ability to use either batteries or an adapter, (although, I don't like the fact that you have to buy the adapter separately). The only thing I noticed is that every once in a while, if I haven't used the can in a while, the sensor doesn't open the lid. If I press the open button, then it gets "woken up" I guess, and then the sensor works great.... Overall I really like this garbage can and for the price iit is an excellent value.
